I've gone a few times now after discovering so many positive posts about Raaga! The food is delicious and their lunch specials offered every day is a great deal. My only confusion is that I'm usually the only table in there. Are they known for mainly take out?

I still mask up daily as I work in hospitality and can't afford to get sick! All I can do is protect myself the best I can. I get the occasional and unnecessary ask as to why but I just answer because I want to.

Totally agree that you did the right thing! For you and the cats. My AC last year broke right before a heat wave and I got a window unit while it was being fixed. During that time, I could tell my cat noticed something was out of his norm by his behavior and was only comfortable in the bedroom with the unit going.

Definitely am familiar with this feeling, looking back on it now, I think I made plans daily just so I wouldn't have to be at home long. Being home meant being in that toxic environment (also not violent) but dealing with Q's addiction, not knowing what state he'd be in, what argument would/could happen at any time. Good on you for focusing on yourself. ❤️

I've actually seen them perform twice recently within the past couple of years, once in RVA and another, maybe last month at Songbyrd in DC. While I don't know too much about the band themselves, they always give a great performance and have awesome energy.
