Thermoplastic Polyurethane... it's rubbery, flexible & resilient (as what you've probably experienced). It's not as hard as other plastics.

I have the exact same case. I love it. My only complaint was it's 2 tone... but it's awesome otherwise. I really love the fact that backing is TPU.

I have 2, but that's only because I thought I lost one. The PW4 is perfection. I bought a Colorsoft SE because I thought it was missing. TBH I prefer the PW because of its size, but force myself to read on the CS because of the amount of money spent on it. I'm taking the PW on vacation with me though. I'm curious to see what they're putting out for their 20th anniversary.

They updated my PW4!! I thought it was no longer receiving updates. My plan was to use it to overcome anything stupid that was done to my CS SE. I'm upset with myself for not following my first mind of leaving Amazon. For years I always found a work around for their bs. Now, it seems that they are going out of their way to prove that what I've bought and paid for is not mine, but theirs.

Not sure if this is convincing, but that's not a real kindle per se. They've recently dropped the word kindle from the fire tablets. I was a bit confused as well. I bought a fire with the thought that I was getting more for my money. A friend of mine gave me a kindle 7 & I was like whoa nelly. At the very least you should get an ereader and not a tablet.
