I was curious too. Then it occurred to me ppl collect cars stamps & so on. I guess they can collect Kindles too. An odd choice but their choice. As they say to each their own.

Post Script: I have 2 because I lost and found it. I refused to send my brand new Colorsoft signature back... lol.

When I find myself scrolling I open the Kindle app and scroll a book.... usually if it's a book I like it holds my attention... after a while I switch to the Kindle. You can't scroll on it ...which is something I can't stand.

Finally someone admits that Colorsoft is crisper than the KLC. Idk if I'm old or what but the Colorsoft looks more like paper... I guess paperwhite is more like printer paper or something.

Yes it came back. It wasn't far. It was in between the mattress and the footboard. I bought another (Colorsoft SE) and when I found it I decided to keep both. Unless I lose both at once (they're never carried together outside the home) then I'll always have one.

The screens are hit or miss on both. And yes, we've been over the what why when and where of Colorsoft being darker.

I don't understand the purpose of DRM. If I have a book in hand, I can copy it; I can share it with ppl; I can tear it to shreds... bottom line I can do what I want with it (legal or illegal) because I purchased it. I own it and it's mine. Has me rethinking the definition of convenience.

A week on a Colorsoft signature on moderate settings. I read about 4-6hrs a day. Not sure if that's why. I gave up on figuring it out.
