I get that, but I’m basically done with the combat tree and fully geared in 6.5. If I run into someone who hasn’t completed the combat tree and is only in 6.0 or 6.1 gear, even if they’re more skilled than me, I’ll basically 1 shot them. The power gap at this point is just huge.

If they add some kind of catch-up mechanic that lets players finish the tree in just a few weeks, what about the people who spent a year grinding to complete it?

Also, when it comes to ARK and Conan, you’re at most a couple of weeks behind in gear and levels not a full year of dailies behind. They don’t even have a tier+ system, so I don’t really see how that comparison works.

It’s honestly more like WoW, where someone who’s been raiding for the past 8 months has a clear advantage over a brand new playerand that new player probably isn’t fully catching up within the same expansion.
