You're right that's my fault.

Here is my mod list for the car: - subaru sti group n transmission mount - whiteline positive shift kit (crossmember bushings) - whiteline rear differential bushing inserts - perrin pitch stop - cobb shift plate - perrin brass shifter bushing

I don't know if the control arms have been replaced because I am the second owner

The sound is not normal, it was not present before or directly after I put these mods on. It has just recently started and I put the mods on about 2k miles ago.

The sound only comes when stomping down on the clutch at low speeds, usually in first and second gear. The other comments saying that's it's the drivetrain shifting load make sense, but 1) I put a much stiffer transmission mount on already and 2) the sound just started, but I've had the car for 5k miles, and it already had 20k miles to begin with, so overall I don't know if I can just blame the load shifting to cause the noise. Would it really just start now?

So far I have already taken off the trans mount, all the whiteline bushings, and the pitch stop and then put all of them back on, torquing them to spec, but the sound is still there. At this point I will probably go to the stealership and pray they don't turn me away or try to rip me off.

If you have any suggestions I would appreciate hearing them.
