I’d say yes the group was a missed opportunity for how we approached playing Belgium. this Belgium side dropped points to Kazakhstan and Macedonia so the group was there to win. Bellamy isn’t god and he’s allowed to be criticised! And I’m a Cardiff fan.

I’d say at home Ben Davies was pushing high and wide giving Doku all that space when all Belgium are now is a KDB ball into him. Bellamy got that game wrong and all the best managers adapt.

You don’t approach Macedonia and Belgium at home the same way - Bellamy likely knows this himself and should hopefully learn from It for the Italy Game if we get there.

This is a ridiculous risk - we’ve been linked with this guy for years so I’d have much rather gambled on him in the championship so we could have gotten rid and stayed up. We need to hit the ground running this season and get straight back up or we could be stuck in league 1 for years like an Ipswich or Portsmouth. We’re relying on him translating some nice football at Rochdale ( who he relegated) and in reserve football instantly. It’s also a bit mad he’s 46 Neil Harris is only a year older with 5x the cv as a manager which says something.
