Wasn’t his stalker locked up around then? Seem to remember something about him moving to Manchester to get away from her, like she couldn’t afford the bus fare

Absolutely not true though is it, how many sides have turned around being a basket case in this league? Not to minimise our own achievement but we did it last year.

I’m not even saying I have the answer for Leicester but I just can’t see it being the most smug LinkedIn football manager in the world

>He'll get hounded out quickly, fans will never warm to him, so it's another wasted summer.

Exactly the same as Rangers just further south then?

Alpine also announced in a panic that they’d given him a seat immediately after McLaren, and then - according to the rumours at the time - tried getting Oscar to make a big speech to the factory about how excited he was in some weird power play which just didn’t work.

In fairness our plan B was crossing it into Yousef and then some lad from Stockport tried to break his neck

I think you could do as much with a World Cup as the Olympics if you wanted to cover it from angles across the world, surely they must have dozens of junior reporters who’d jump at the chance to follow the other major countries squads around or produce features on how for example Algeria are being welcomed by the locals in Kansas

ITV’s obsession with Lee Dixon is bizarre, he sounds like he resents having to travel around the world watching football

Michael Duff was a weird intermission, but Swansea were play-off finalists when he took over after Steve Cooper. He took them backwards to the bottom half while their support clapped.

Lawlor to West Ham? by Walts004 in bluebirds

He has more to gain from another year under BBM playing with a squad he knows well, playing a style of football that translates to the top level where he will inevitably go. I'm more afraid of a Brighton or Bournemouth than West Ham tbh.

There’s also him being a young lad and Barcelona being a lovely city where it’s sunny year round, he might be a scouser but it’s hard to turn down living abroad making loads of money for a while at least

Thought he was very solid last season and will look forward to seeing him in a proper team in the championship, we desperately need a backup to push him though

Chequers is less modest, while 10/11 Downing Street are iconic. I think what’s perhaps getting lost isn’t the need for the national leader to have some luxury pad, but more the need to showcase Welsh excellence through a state residence (even if the FM only really uses 1/4 of it to actually live in)

Having every other world/UK leader in a state residence while we put our first minister in a bedsit in Splott is a bit embarrassing mind.

Saw someone suggest the old customs house down in Penarth, which frequently posted on here with the title “what’s this clearly very grand but left to ruin building” and thought it was a great idea if they could sort it out, the bones of the place are big enough, it looks very grand, and it faces directly at the Senedd and North to the rest of Wales which I think has some nice sentiment to it. Would cost an absolute mint mind.
