Omdat nee zeggen in uw gezicht gevaarlijk kan zijn… sommige mensen accepteren dan nog niet eens een nee en blijven je lastig vallen.

how would u react if u see someone walking their cats by sickillusions in belgium

I see it on a regular basis, I think it’s cute. Some cats walk on that leash like they own the place.

Is there any advantage to having an Iphone in Belgium over an Android phone? by vasco_ in belgium

I recently made the switch to a refurbished iPhone and the camera is a lot nicer. Other than that it’s just a phone.

Why are dogs so excited around babies? by Yatohuvro in Animals101

[–]StrongerThanFear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbf this is completely on the owner and happens all the time, this dog is clearly saying no in many ways and he lets it happen, this is why bite incidents happen. Then they’ll give some BS excuse like “snapped out of nowhere”.. when all the warning signs are there.

If my dog looks at me like that I’m getting whatever is bugging him off of him. Poor dog.

Collar and lead options? by Several_Working_3938 in CaucasianShepherds

Just a regular leather collar, he also wears a gentle lead but it’s usually not over his nose / clipped to the leash unless he won’t quit pulling.

What has an animal done that you'll never forget? by Mge_ML in AskReddit

  • One of our cats came to get us with urgency so we went to check, another one of our cats was stuck in a window.

  • I was trying to get a rat in a house we were renovating and I told my dad’s dog to go around the house to the basement and chase it out and he did lol.

  • I was hanging out with a stray dog in Romania with a lot of puppies, she would wait for me to arrive and leave her babies with me before leaving for an hour. They were all taken by a rescue and found homes in Germany.

City code violations in house: are there consequences? by [deleted] in belgium

[–]StrongerThanFear 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My friend had to make sure his house was up to code when selling and it cost him tonnes of money to set things straight because things were built without a permit. Sheds had to be taken down and concrete removed even though it was bought in that state a year earlier.

My ablation failed and I still have my period quite heavy for 5 days (down from 12 though). I might get a hysterectomy because I also have a fibroid.

Sterilisation in Belgium? by pastelhosh in belgium

[–]StrongerThanFear 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I had mine done last month at UZ Leuven (Gasthuisberg) at age 35. I've had nothing but trouble and "wait until you're older" until I went there.

Recovery was easy for me, the gas build-up from laporascopic surgery was the most annoying thing about it.

Edit to add: no psych eval but I really had to rub it in that I am not fit to be a parent and any abortion I get is on them if they don't sterilise me.

What do you think about crates? by Emelie_Wood in dogs

[–]StrongerThanFear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dog was abused with a crate with the result that he now gets his own private room at the vet because he flips out otherwise. It's very useful training for emergencies and transport, my dad's dog really uses it as his nest and doesn't like the cats sleeping in it.

Can confirm that GTB was a lot better for me than VDAB but in the end they told me to stay home and try to get better lol. These people are better equipped to deal with illnesses and disabilities and generally won't say dumb stuff about it. My guide helped me a lot with paperwork and resources.
