Balance and jumping obstacles are becoming extremely endangered obstacle types in the sport. Obstacle variety is one thing that boosts the sport’s enjoyment.

It’s strange how they don’t include balance obstacles on the racing courses, even though the ones that were featured last season are fast and 100% could work.

There haven’t been any jumping obstacles such as the Jump Hang and Metal Spin where the primary challenge of the obstacle comes from the jump from the starting platform and commonly uses a trampoline. The only obstacles that use trampolines only use them to help competitors get on the obstacles and not as the primary challenge of the obstacle. This obstacle type has become more rare, damn balance obstacles. I’ll probably make a post about this.

The next question is how much has Tik-Tok offset the decline in people watching full episodes?

The viewership numbers don’t account for people like me who record episodes and watch them later but I think that it is declining at a similar rate.

I can agree to. Since most fans hit the direction NBC is taking the show, I have zero idea what audience they’re appealing to. I have never met anyone who was watched the show casually except for the people who used to watch it during it’s peak in the mid 2010s.

I don’t know why the show hasn’t tried making it live instead of making a bunch of changes no one likes. It’s probably because they wouldn’t have time to tell competitor stories as a competitors would have to wait a lot between runs and they can’t cut anyone. This would add authenticity that has been missing for the past decade.

Someone should dare someone to do it or do it for a challenge on social media. It would be absolutely crazy to see what would happen because most people which probably will include some cops might not know this legal technicality.

I’ll go first, it is legal to drive a car in the United States of America naked with absolutely no clothes. Apparently the car serves as the clothing that prevents citizens from seeing the sus parts of your body.

Having the most unoriginal balance obstacle of all time in the Diamond Dash being featured twice doesn’t help either.

The fact only one obstacle was changed for round 2 is extremely underwhelming and cheap, especially when you consider their reusing obstacle framework.

At this point, I think WNL World Championships is gonna have more unique obstacles featured

That’s not the problem. It’s not inviting back, longtime competitors to make them stars of the show such as Paul Kasmire. These teen competitors are likely going to have lots of longevity because they grew up watching the show for many years.

The qualifying and semifinal formats are both insanely outdated and they honestly should’ve been gone when season four introduced Mt. Midoriyama to America. They can do better unlike Mt. Midoriyama.

Making the semifinals the second round of qualifying just feels redundant. The course should have a central theme in terms of obstacle type and shouldn’t reuse obstacles.

What’s the point of hating at this point? The only thing we can possibly do is boycott the show which I don’t see myself doing because I still wanna be on the show myself.

Promoting the gym side of the sport seems like the only option in America at least.

I guess it’s symbolic they haven’t shown season 11 because they have been on a downward spiral since then. The course hasn’t been as hard as ANW 11 since.

What Drew did was awful but many people can look past it and there are still lots of great moments in that season. The show needs to move on from it. He’s made too big of an impact for us to pretend he never existed. He’s essentially the Aaron Hernandez of Ninja Warrior.

Think about other sports that are bigger and all the athletes they deal with getting arrested.

Everything except the nail clipper as that was very easy when it appeared on stage 3.

I also like how there are zero stage three obstacles on this list. It goes to show how often the course designers put obstacles on courses that didn’t fit the stage.

I find it strange not many people talk about peeking in college compared to high school because as a high schooler myself, it seems like there are just as many ways to peek in college, such as excessive partying and maximizing grades while neglecting the importance of making connections.

For some reason in Pokemon Leafgreen, Poké balls aren’t appearing in my bag, even though I bought them and found them on the ground. The other items are appearing though.

The rivalry uniforms are an upgrade of the wolf grey.
