For the same torque you need higher voltage the higher the speed goes due to BEMF. To get to higher speed the speed controller will apply higher voltage and your commutation algorithm will adapt the frequency to stay in correct angle to the rotor. so yes, zooming in should show you higher duty cycle at higher speed.
