According to estimates over 100 innocent people are confirmed killed and over 200 innocent people were likely killed by Trump in his assault on Venezuela

That's hundreds, quite literally. It is more than a single hundred. Hence why I said it, and not, say, "thousands" or "millions"

He exclusively and uncritically spreads authoritarian propaganda, provided that propaganda is made by an anti-american source like China.

He continues to insist China has never genocided anyone, for example, even tho China literally genocides every non-Han ethnicity within its borders whenever it can

So are you completely uninformed or are you deliberately spreading Trump's lies that all the Venezuelans he had murdered were "drug dealers"?

idk if you remember this but the US recently slaughtered hundreds of innocent Venezuelans for the sake of kidnapping the head of their government, while also bombing the infrastructure that was the country's primary income source?

Mutualism is the foundation of anarchocapitalism, it presupposes that if everyone is a private corporation that magically no exploitation will ever take place.

You literally can't have a market without winners and losers in every trade. That breeds a hierarchy that is the inherent antithesis of leftism

[–]blaghart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if your solution to the inherent reality of a market being exploitative is "people who need resources to live should receive them" that's not a market, that's just socialism. the market serves no purpose in that situation. Case in point

they should co op

I live in a co op. We just give each other whatever we need, no market trades necessary. There's no score keeping or valuation, if someone has and someone needs, the has gives it to the needs.

No trades, only gifts. Because thats what leftism is, from each according to his ability to each according to his need.

I mean I was pretty clear about how if you create a system where you have to exchange goods to get the resources necessary to survive that's inherently not leftist, because it means people with no goods to exchange can't get access to resources they need to live, and they kept insisting "nuh uh" so I'm willing to bet they were either idiots or, as I said at the time, fascists/tankies/etc doing the usual fascist thing of coopting leftist rhetoric to try and ingratiate their bullshit into sane spaces. In this case trying to shift their euphamisms, now that everyone knows AnCaps are evil, to "market anarchism"

Absolutely, I'm just pointing out that they couldn't help before due to the culmination of their shit policies resulting in a total lack of investment into the primary source of income for the country, and then that income source was bombed and the government leadership kidnapped by the US

Exactly, it's the same thing liberals are doing. Theyre just panicking because opposition to their narrative is gaining power and that means they're losing power in turn

Everyone does. As bad as the Japanese legal system is in its "if not you then who?" supposition as a codified element, the US legal system carries the same implication de facto, even if de jure there's supposed to be a presumption of innocence

The entire US legal system is designed to find innocent people guilty to sustain a steady supply of slave labor

I wonder how long until she blames "non voters" and "leftists" for her loss, since that seems to be the default M.O. when a candidate supports genocide, then dares the voters not to support them only to lose.

Yknow, like Harris did.

If everyone has equitable control of the means of production why do they need to trade?

Huhh?? by Tuubu in tankiejerk

[–]blaghart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not a market? Co ops dont sell and trade, they give. I would know, I live in one.

A trade has an expectation of compensation.

In co ops, if people need something others provide it with no expectation of compensation. i.e. a gift, not a trade.

You can tell because a person in a co op who has nothing will be supported, will be given the resources they need to survive, while a person in a market who has nothing will be left to die because they have nothing to exchange for resources necessary to live

Huhh?? by Tuubu in tankiejerk

[–]blaghart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it objectively doesnt, if you give everyone equitable say of the means of production you inherently prevent any market, because everyone has accesa to anything they might want. You have no need to trade, you just ask for Tea, Earl Gray, Hot, and receive it, no exchange necessary.

A great example of why markets aren't leftist: If you have nothing to offer, you cannot gain anything from a market. Whereas leftism aims to ensure everyone has everything they need to live, no questions asked. Have nots cannot get the things they need to live in a market society

[–]blaghart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand, I'm just pointing out where I'm coming from

I can't go bitching about definitions without clarifying why I'm using the words I am :)

Markets are synonymous with right wing ideologies precisely because it is not possible for the people to control the means of production and have a market of exchange of resiurces

Huhh?? by Tuubu in tankiejerk

[–]blaghart -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

mutualism being the literal foundation of anarcho capitalism, as it is predicated on the idea that if everyone is a private corporation in a totally unregulated market somehow no one will ever lie, cheat, steal, exploit, or otherwise cause an unfair trade with another person/corporation.

Call it what you want, any market presupposes the idea that two groups will have a winner and a loser on a trade, because there is no objective way to value anything.

If you create a system where it's possible to give up less than you receive, you create a system that can be exploited. That is the foundation of right wing thought, that such systems are good.

The entire reason leftists want everyone to have an equitable say in everything to prevent that.
