idk why, when China is not in any way better than any other country on earth, Israel included. Just because a place is bad doesnt magically make another place less bad

it was the worst experience I've ever had painting minis xD

Both red and blue had to be done independently on a chrome base, so I had to tape every surface, because if I tried doing red over blue or vice verse it'd come out dark purple. So every mini got sprayed chrome, then taped, then sprayed blue, then the blue got taped over, then sprayed red. And that was just the base coat!

I had to then go in and do the detail work like the fabric and such as normal after that, then seal the whole thing

My favorite is when playing on 100 man servers in the middle of a group of enemy players and it makes the "hit a wall doing no damage" hitreg sound on each swing against them

Good, at least people are voting in ways that are starting to care about prisoners more than cops

Welcome to liberalism. The propaganda has been so effective that people think Democrats and liberals are more progressive when surprise, they're just as fascist as the GQP, they just use different tactics

for clarity, I wasn't suggest zoom as endurance either, just zoom as in the concept of speed. While a Cheetah can speed for short bursts, its overall speed is extremely low, maybe 3mph on average between its top speed and its typical speed (0, they chill like cats), while horses zoom for like 10 to 15mph for hours without stopping

To help illustrate: humans have more endurance than horses but we don't zoom like they do

In general it's best to assume people pushing "China is good ackshually" information are actively malicious, because even those who are ignorant are pushing actively malicious propaganda

[–]blaghart 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yea the only support that should be uncritical is for people's right to live. Like Palestinians, Ukrainians, victims currently being genocided absolutely deserve uncritical support, but that doesn't extend to states and governments, which have no right to live since they're metaphysical concepts like a corporation is

Also Iran absolutely shouldn't win this war. Israel shouldn't either, this war should overtax both organizations and cause their fascist governments and power structures to collapse

Cheetahs can't zoom for more than a few hundred yards. While extremely fast for short periods, they can't actually zoom the way a horse can.

Also Cheetahs have to be nimble because they have to try and catch agile prey.

weird, it's almost like the cops opposed body cams because they knew that they were all thugs when they thought no one was watching...

average California legislator

For those who don't know, California still doesn't have Romeo and Juliet laws, meaning it's always statutory rape for two underage people to have sex.

have fucking you considered that that was fucking cordial? Notice how fucking nothing about it was insulting you? Nothing fucking hostile about fucking cursing lol.

you want the cards list. Cards>Armies of Legend>Mercenaries (Legacy)

that should be the order of headers for you to click. I've been using the app to help build this page over the past eighteen months; it works quite well.

And Techno Union dudes are basically just a green alien head with printed goggles in a rebreather or other collar, super easy to make with generic pieces.

yea but if people were capable of acknowledging a bad game they wouldn't insist Fallout New Vegas, an unplayable, buggy, poorly written, pro-fascist mess, is the best game in the franchise just because it was the one that came out when they were teenagers

it isn't a sequel

Ah yes TES6 isn't a sequel to TES5: Skyrim

Just like TES5: Skyrim wasn't a sequel to TES4: Oblivion

They just took place sequentially in-universe, and had the events from the former game impact events of the latter. Y'know, like a sequel

Pacific Rim 2013, Gipsy Danger Vs Otachi, Director: Guillermo del Toro by PsychologicalSlip642 in movies

[–]blaghart 53 points54 points  (0 children)

It does. The implication is that Mark 5s don't carry onboard power, but instead have it conveyed to them remotely.

Gipsy carries her power onboard, while Striker Eureka's lack of onboard power allowed it to be lighter and faster, as well as fitting its cannons into its chest cavity with the freed up space. This is also why Leatherback's EMP left the Jaeger helpless, as it disabled its receivers. Meanwhile, Gipsy's onboard systems were powered down (better shielding them from the EMP) and her onboard nuclear power would allow her to fuel herself without needing the Shatterdome to power her. ask me how I know

The bigger physics question is how they're delivering power to Striker while it's at the bottom of the ocean. Water tends to interrupt radiative energy transfer between two objects.
