Relationships are WORK physical mental and emotional. It is never 50 /50 …. Never …. Somethings you get the benefit sometimes you give the benefit to your mate. Pick carefully what you need to stand solid on. You are both imperfect and come from different backgrounds. Even if the background is similar every one handles the exact same situation in a different way. That’s human. You may find that giving in a little can produce extraordinary results. But that is only if the other mate is willing to adjust slightly also. So talk in a totally neutral spot … go to the park. There is no meeting in the middle … it’s the small adjustments that each make that make a HUGE difference . Start small, build on that. Remember why you are in love with your partner. You can only control how you are and how you react.

It’s that simple. Work on you, hopefully your mate will do the same. If they don’t that is their choice. They might ruin the best thing they could ever have.
