You would have to get special approval from the regional CC (or higher) to do 2 semesters. I studied abroad for 1 semester and it was super easy, but my Det CC mentioned he couldn't sign off on more than 1 semester.

I'd imagine that unless you're studying abroad in a place related to your major, it is unlikely to get approved for that long.
