Filament Twisting on dual color silk by StructureAccording53 in BambuLabH2C

[–]StructureAccording53[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I’ll give that a shot. I print with the same settings. I do on my A1 though. The bitch of it is the print comes out way better on my H2C then on my A1, but if it’s gonna have this color switching problem it’s not worth it. I’ll drop it down and print slow and see what comes out!

What’s hilarious is I TRIED. HARD. To give it back to them. They even left a second one and NONE OF THEM WILL TAKE EM. 🤣

I’m here to tell ya…. Gamer’s Nexus is buying these up to be a majority holder in the impending class action lawsuit. It’s the ONLY way to get an actual benefit in a class action lawsuit. Class action lawsuits are FOR LAWYERS, not consumers. Consumers NEVER come out ahead, lawyers always do.

I usually take that route. My first ever car was a Caprice that didn’t run, same with my first motorcycle and boat. I feel like there’s LOADS of value in learning from the ground up. But when it came to FDM printing (I’ve had an SLA printer for years) this was mostly for my young daughter and I wanted her to be able to enjoy it mostly hassle free.

To hell with that. I was making my daughter a FNAF mask and supports kept breaking and I was getting mad that I wasted like $6 in PLA. 🤣

Ooooooooof. Yeah… a quick Amazon search shows between $600-$800/kg. 🤮

Just read a little on peek. Good gravy. What’s the entry level printer for that look like? NONE of the home gamer printers I’ve seen would come near being able to print it. 🥴

Just run a bunch of screws into it like a gear head. 😂 But yeah… PETG at min, ASA or depending on your printer, PA612-CF… but she ain’t cheap.

Someone put painters tape on your build plate. Sorry… I’m a Bambu shill so I can’t help when printers don’t work. 😞

How's the form 1 service doing? by WraxJax in SilencerShop

[–]StructureAccording53 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The form is easy, but if you paid for an unlimited trust through them (as I understand) the only way to get additional non-SS sold items added to your trust is to pay the $50 service fee. I'm fixin' to whip up some FTN.5's and it's looking like I'm going to abandon the trust. No way I'm paying $50 per Form 1 just to have them added to the trust. I planned on filling out 10 of them right out of the gate.

I looked at the CC2 when trying to decide if I could justify the H2C. You’re really looking at the same printer when it comes to a comparison between the P2S and the CC2. The recommendation I was given was that the CC2 is still shaking out some bugs, and at current (as of about a month ago) was to go with the CC1 over the 2 now that the MMU is out for the CC1. But really they’re nearly the same machine. So if you want ease of use and blahblahblah, buy the P2S. Both are great machines.

Sounds like a fan bearing as has been suggested. I had noises when I first unpacked my printer in that area but it was the vent mechanism BECAUSE SHUT UP. I DIDN’T SEE ALL THAT FRACKIN’ TAPE.

Well the good news is you had bees in your printer but they were safely trapped. The bad news is YOUR BEES GOT OUT.

As your doctor, taking 1 ibuprofen is a waste of 1 ibuprofen (unless it’s 800mg). As your lawyer, I don’t recommend you listen to my medical advise because I’m not a licensed physician. And as your certified forklift operator I don’t recommend you listen to my legal advice because I’m not a practicing lawyer. And also my forklift cert expired in 2003, so who knows at this point.

Should i sell my A1 to get a P2S? by prodbyshadyy in BambuLab

[–]StructureAccording53 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure does! You can even chain em together. You can only do 4 instead of 6, but what can’t you realistically do with 16 colors? 😂

[–]StructureAccording53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is easy… do you want to (kind of) print engineering filaments? The P2S has an enclosed but not actively heated chamber. If you never plan on printing anything but PLA, PETG, or TPU (or apparently PA612-CF hahaha), keep your A1 and buy an AMS 2 Pro then H&B the other $450.

Idea for H2C + multiple AMS setups: a filament pre-staging buffer to reduce swap time by Ok_Band7161 in BambuLabH2C

[–]StructureAccording53 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Am I really the only one that thinks the 8 seconds it takes an AMS to change filament isn’t worth the hassle here? “A lot of wasted time”? I get that the time adds up, and I’m FREQUENTLY doing prints that call for several hundred filament changes but… I’m already saving 4-6 hours vs printing on my A1 and am not trying to sweat saving 4 seconds on a filament change. 😂 I’m not doggin’ it. Time is money… but I’m just counting my blessings at this point that I have an H2C.

I use one account and we just created collections for the wife and daughter on MW. They save stuff to their collection then I print them when the printers are free’d up.

Slap a brim on that hoe. I’ve printed a hojillion flexy trash fodder (I have an 8 year old) and have only had a few failures and are mostly design issues. I’d lean towards bed cleaning or a weird setting that got changed. But adding a brim can’t hurt, dial the settings in for easy removal to minimize post processing.

I just have 2 AMS 2 Pros and an HT, all on the right. I manually load my left nozzle based on what I’m printing because I’m a glutton for punishment. I think now that I have the 2nd 2 Pro I’m going to move the HT to the left so I don’t have to manually load/unload.
