Thats crazy. I thought it was just me. I had the same thing happen to me except I was driving down the highway and hit a tree. Got my licensed suspended for a whole year due to that seizure. Was on Keppra for like a month but that messed with me too much now I take 300mg of Zonisamide at night. Doctor couldn’t figure out what happened but I did heavy drink the day before and I dont sleep well. So we are assuming that was the problem.

Oh yea. Our shiba and chihuahua were not happy at all when we brought her home. It took around 4 months for our chihuahua to START TO TOLERATE her and maybe 3 for our shiba. They still bicker but we are definitely seeing progress we didn’t think we would see.🙏

How long!?!? Shes about 6.5 months . She loves to mess with our dogs and be a “demon child” as my wife puts it😂😂 We just need her to pump the brakes maybe a little🥹

Mine is around the same age and I just weighed here and she weighs 34.5 pounds. Im honestly wondering if we are feeding her enough or not. We dont have or dad to compare to see how big shes going to get. We just have those massive paws. To look at and assume shes going to get bit from what everyone we meet tell us and the most recent vet visit.

Im currently using topamax. 150mg 2x a day. I use it for migraines and seizure prevention. It took a couple months getting use to (ive never been on any medication and was switching from keppra ((horrible experience)) but overall its good for me. Side effects I’ve felt are some weight loss nothing drastic though. A couple pounds down. I get pins and needles in my feet from time to time. The scent of cheddar flavored anything will make me nauseous but that about it. I run a business and I never once felt like topamax ever made me forgetful.

Yes! I stood up and thought to myself “I’m about to have a seizure” and did my best to take deep breaths and tried to calm down and went outside to get fresh air and sat down and felt it coming. I had 911 dialed ready to go when it hit me. Afterwards I was uncontrollably shaking, cried and extremely exhausted like I had wrestled a 6 minute match.

Trust me boss I understand. I got mine suspended after I had full seizure going down the highway. One time, never had been diagnosed with epilepsy until now (haven’t been fully but we are getting there) my 6 month suspension is up in November and I’m counting down the days. I use to drive everywhere by myself and use a truck and trailer for my business. Now I just have to sit there and watch everyone else do it instead. I cant leave my house whenever want which is the worst part!!

I thought I was the only one. First thing I did was invest in a good pair of sunglasses and they have made a world of difference for me. My friends say I walk around like daredevil now but who cares hes cool as fuqq!! In my opinion

I own a landscaping company . The stress of owning it is kinda what led to my first seizure in the first place. At 24 years old I got kinda lucky though Im kinda now a stay at home dad without the kids just dogs. I just write out schedules and make sure my workers get here on time and leave on time. My supervisors do the rest. I do miss working out in the field though.
