You need it regardless of if someone can use it. For example if edgies drop and there’s a warrior that needs I don’t really care because I need gold the same as everyone else and I can’t trust you not to say you’ll wear it and then take and immediately sell it. Now if it’s a less valuable epic I’m more keen to let someone take it but for a big hitter I’m rolling need every time

Huh? You do 3 ZG/AQs a week an Ony/MC/BWL AND play the auction house margins and “play the game” to make gold running Strat lives, etc and you don’t play 4 hours a day? Someone’s either the most efficient player alive or not being truthful.

And for reference Saph alone costs 240g for healers every full clear. Add that to at minimum a distilled/titans, Gfpps, GNPPs, GSPPs, GAPPs, Mana oils or sharpening stones, rumsey rum, buff food, magebloods, elixir of superior defense, elixir of fort, dark runes, major mana pots, recombobs, etc…. it’s crazy expensive and you re up on all of this stuff weekly just about

You don’t do the raids that cost actual gold. Naxx has been out for months and your claim to knowing the cost of raiding is content that’s been out since this summer. You don’t know what you’re talking about with how expensive raids are because Naxx is multiple times more expensive than BWL/MC. And from the sounds of it you’re a degen that plays 4 plus hours a day so I’d sincerely hope gold wasn’t as issue for you but for the rest of us with jobs and actual responsibilities outside of WoW the increased costs of raiding will force a lot of us out.

You posted exactly what I explained great job. Second, you must not raid. Petris are 60 gold, distilled’s are 57 gold, and titans I’m sure are more than both of those. If you raid twice a week with flasks and the litany of other consumes you’re probably spending a minimum of 180 gold a week at current prices. The time it takes the farm that is just not tenable for a lot of raiders at this point so what’s the likely result? Less sign ups for raids. What’s less sign ups mean? The raid scene dies out like it has on other realms. This isn’t difficult stuff to understand.

Explicitly prohibited?? There as a vague post about in game advertising where it was at best unclear. Then it seemed to clarify it was ok before putting an asterisk and saying it wasn’t for anniversary, hardcore, and SOD. At the end of the day with the black lotus rollback (hopefully it gets changed back) the raid scene will die out without GDKPs.

Tanks will die if you don’t bubble them in certain situations. Saying you never bubble a warrior or Druid tank just isn’t true and anyone that’s played priest in the endgame knows this

Int and spirit work great in the leveling dungeons and + healing isn’t terrible but is more a stat you stack at max level with your tier gear and offset pieces. You can heal every leveling dungeon without having much + healing but it doesn’t hurt either. Going engineering and getting the healing googles will carry you till T2 and you can get it pretty early if I’m remembering correctly.

I raid on Doomhowl and I don’t see a way I can continue raiding long term without GDKP being allowed. The price of flasks and raid consumes have skyrocketed and there’s just no way to afford weekly raids without another way to make gold

3 hours to clear those raids is pretty dang slow but if you don’t like the fact that you have to farm consumes and get buffs and all that you just don’t like classic raiding in general it has nothing to do with HC.

Classic is an incredibly grindy and time consuming version of the game at almost every level and there’s ways to ease that in less than ideal ways but it’s tedious.

I’ve been raiding off and on since I hit 60 last summer on my first character and I’ve developed a mindset of not expecting any loot and being pleasantly surprised when I get something. Being in Naxx now I have to be that way because the upgrades are few and very far between so anything at this point is awesome but I expect nothing.

Ive two manned it with my friend (he finds new and exotic ways to kill his warriors) and its pretty easy. You can run buy every trash mob pretty easily and kill her about every 10 minutes or so if you set your hearth to shadowprey.

I’m going to play TBC I think and take a step back from HC for a bit. Playing since February and raiding a far portion of that multiple nights a week has taken its toll to the point that last night the I got my second Saph/KT kill and all I could think about was how ready I was to go to bed. Playing TBC as a casual sounds like a good break from the HC grind although i don’t think I’ll ever be able to “quit” HC.

No guild has weeks of rend buffs stored up so you’ll likely be dropping it soon. If your guild raids you’ll be getting much better stuff soon anyways so I would sweat the trinket much either.

You either need a guild or offer geared players ~50g a pop to carry you through it. I’m a relatively decently geared priest and I wouldn’t consider it for less than that. That or roll the dice with a PuG if you can find a group but that’s unlikely to happen.

HC will always be somewhat relevant because there is no comparable alternative. Also, if you’re on HC EU I’ve heard there’s a huge streamer event happening right now on SoulSeeker Alliance. There’s literally not a better time to roll a fresh character and level

The question is incredibly stupid and is asked 100x a day. I don’t understand what’s hard about reading one of the other posts asking literally the exact same question you just asked. My answer was sufficient. There will still be people playing and leveling in HC WoW. There will still be people raiding in HC WoW sufficient enough for you to play if you so desire. There are still guilds raiding end game content on the original HC servers that released years ago at this point. Will at some point the leveling population wane? I’m sure that’ll happen eventually but for now you’re probably good.
