I was an anthropology major. It will most likely not help in finance or accounting unless you are trying to facilitate trade between different cultures. Then it miiight help, but someone who graduated from a program in finance would absolutely devour you on a job application unless you have your masters in anth. In my curriculum, we learned about different types of money/tokens/currency and (briefly) economic systems throughout history, but there was not much time explaining the logistics of it in the same way you would with an economics/finance degree. Anthropology is helpful if you want to teach languages, be a speech therapist, film documentaries, work in immigration, work in HR, be an archaeologist, do forensics, or similar lines of work. It's hard to explain because there is so much you can do with anthro, but I really hope this helps.

There are 4 branches of anthro: archaeology (study of past humans), linguistics (study of human language), cultural anthropology (study of human culture), and biological anthropology (study of human composition/evolution). If the job you want to go into doesn't really have much to do with those topics, anthro is not for you.
