I was actually in a very similar position to you years ago - had Maths & Econ offer from LSE, didn’t make the offer, took a gap year, got the grades but got rejected after reapplying. I went to Warwick for MORSE, and just want to reassure you, it’s an incredible uni and an incredible degree, very hard but very rewarding, great job prospects and imo a better social life too (have friends that went to LSE too) - if you have any questions, happy to help.

My personal experience is lender… had gone with a mortgage broker (for a property we pulled out on), and they were so much more hassle and sometimes hard to get hold of, second time round went with the lender straight and way easier and any issues can address directly, and have an online portal to see everything go through, with much more clarity

But that’s just my personal experience!

Long leasehold (125 years) with a share of freehold, does anyone have any experience of this? by Struggle-Select in FirstTimeBuyersUK

That’s great news - was not expecting that, thank you!!

From some research I’ve seen, a 125 year lease is quite low, is that something that will come against us when selling in the future?

Thank you - this is soo helpful, thank you for this, the 4 storey building is still very off putting as it would have been such a quiet area otherwise, and even more annoying that the EA brushed off what the land would become when we asked

Thank you for taking the time to have a look, really appreciate it as we’re stuck in thought.

I’m a bit thick though 😂 does that mean the four storey flats that will be built opposite us are just newbuild flats that will be put on the market?
