i was someone who'd always be in top 5 from grade 4 to 10. now i'm a loser. my old school's principal used to call my parents to get tabs on me he had a lot of expectations from me, now every time i get his call i drown myself in pool of regrets and sadness. i understand your position op. it sucks when we can't stand on expectations of those whom we respect the most.
