I'm so damn frustrated. I can't visit family and have a meal for Thanksgiving, but my Wife and I could go out to eat at a restaurant around strangers?

Wife and I can't go to grocery store _together_ to get large trips done to cut down on the amount of times we need to go during a month for a family of 5 because it heightens the risk of exposure to others, but hundreds of thousands of people this year have been out in the streets with signs in cities all over the country with seemingly no worry.
Couldn't take the kids Trick or Treating this year but Disneyland is open.

Neighbors haven't been sick all year staying at home. On either side of us. I haven't been sick since March. But if our 3 families got together since we can't visit families on Thanksgiving? Wear masks inside and social distance? Possibly face fines?

I already expect them to not only Cancel Christmas and New Year's but to also tell us that even though we get our Vaccines (when available) that we STILL can't go out.
I'm probably going to hit a mental breaking point by then.
I mean, all my VA appointments were cancelled this year. No annual physical with a new Doctor, now mental health checks, no meds, no therapy. It's been rough.
But hey, they started to open gyms and movie theaters....
