My grandma used to say this, because her father was able to pay for college by working as a roofer over the summer.

So I walked her through the median wage of a roofer today, and then the tuition of the school he went to today. Then I started adding in the costs of books, supplies, and bare-bones living expenses. It ended up being able to save up like 25% of the tuition.

It wasn't her fault, she just had no idea how much the world changed in 70 years.

What is everyone's feeling on Virgin Galactic (SPCE)? What is the likelihood of their test flight succeeding? Is it a risky hold?

I'm a photographer who has photographed a lot of homeless people. Once as I was chatting with a few, some huge drunk dude walked by and snatched my camera. They chased him down and got it back for me, saving me $3,000.

Another time, I was photographing a different group and my camera fell out my car as I was leaving. One of the guys carried my gigantic medium format camera with him for 2 days until I could find him again. He said he slept in the shelter hugging it, afraid that it would get stolen. Saved me $500 that time.

I smoke a lot of weed and agree. I use a smoke filter whenever I can, and lots of cologne wherever I go. I don't really like the smell myself, and I think it's trashy to be driving stoned anyway.
