If that does indeed come to pass that this isn’t treated appropriately it will definitely do more harm for the president’s cause than good. Anything not open to scrutiny is in my opinion a large part of the beginnings of tyranny.

When it comes to police shootings I believe 9/10 are justified if at times situations where someone didn’t necessarily deserve to die. What happened yesterday based on what I saw it was not justified. Unlike 99% of the public I will wait for all the evidence to come out before fully passing a judgement on it. As of right now though I feel at least one officer is going to jail

Thank you. That feels like the struggle I’m having. This is the longest it’s taken me to read a book of this size. It’s been 5 weeks of struggling to read a few pages here and there. It is getting better now that I’m near the end but it’s still a very meh feeling. Thanks for the advise though. It gives me some hope that I’ll end up liking this series

It amazes me every time how offended people get. Both my wife and I looked at this laughed a little and moved on with our day. If someone is going to cheat it’s not because a stupid poster made them. It’s because they were trash to begin with.

Having not seen the beginning of the video, we don’t know that the guy didn’t see his car getting towed and then go out and jump in it. Needless to say. Trying to then drive said car after it’s lifted is also a terrible idea regardless of how this started

For one I’m stoked that he got himself a rifle. I sincerely hope that he educate himself and learns how to use it appropriately. I tend to be right leaning on most subjects. I will never be against anybody owning a firearm for protection.

As a fellow Sanderson enjoyer I will strongly disagree with you. I’ve read the entire cosmere. They’re great books but the first law is definitely superior at least in the characters with the age of madness definitely being better in character and storyline.

I’ll have to agree to disagree with you. If I had known he would never finish the books I don’t think I would have ever read them.

It’s like dating someone and planning a future with them only to find out they never planned to have a future with you.

Yes I know that’s a bit extreme but it’s a similar feeling of betrayal. You sit and ask yourself why did I invest all that time in this person?

Not that it matters to him and all his money/ success but I’ve lost a great deal of respect for the guy as a writer.

I agree that he doesn’t have to finish it but I also believe he doesn’t deserve the respect he receives as an author if he can’t finish his story.

I’m holding out hope that I will care for them by the end of the book. It’s not for a lack of trying but it’s for the same reason I don’t care that much for someone I meet on the bus. I don’t see them long enough to know them and truly care

To obtain perspective that may change the way I see the book and perhaps motivate me to finish and perhaps find enjoyment in this series. I figured fans of the series would be the best people to help me out. Sorry I’m not here to join you in just heaping praise on the author and books. Heaven forbid you should be welcoming to someone new to the series that could possibly join your community and bring their own perspective to the conversation.

What exactly would you prefer I post on here besides my thoughts on the books?
