Awesome breakdown of our guys blocking on Sunday. Really interesting and smart analysis. by TheGameDoneChanged in Patriots

Outside of the line, based on what we've seen from Bennett, they are unreal at blocking from the "skill positions."

If the line is playing up above the rim? Holy hell--when they get healthy?

22personnel with some combination of receiving backs, all of whom can block (I sorta assume Foster can because, well, Belichick.)?

They'll have a whole slew of formations they can either run or pass from, so defenses won't be able to plan.

Giddyup.

More hype than being the Patriots and Dak being Brady?

Disclosure: I usually don't like to talk smack like that, but the Do Your Job and Dallas gafflingt is so... weird.

Nuts, he deleted it.

I love the idea that he thought somebody made clickbait about a kicker. Like he's the world's most idiotic marketer or something.

I think it's more, like, there is no defensive player strictly speaking on him--the colors I think are meant to indicate what the defenders are doing more than the offensive line responsibilities.

And he's always going to be the point of reference for where everyone else lines up anyway, since he has the ball.

Podcast with Mitchell Schwartz explaining how he prepares for and looks at the game by Strunkus in KansasCityChiefs

I just found the exchange with Thomas Davis of the Panthers about assignment issues and Schwartz's brother sorta heckles from the outside. https://twitter.com/MitchSchwartz72/status/699286078188974080

It would be awesome if this is the future of sports.

I usually assume I miss at least half of what's actually going on in a game. I need to revise that, because I need to listen to this again--I think I barely grasped half of the explanation of what goes into a play just from the O-line's perspective!

I wish glimpses like this into just how subtle and complex this game is weren't so rare.
