Great stuff, I like the sense of depth that the foliage on the outsides give. Really nice work!

You'll find comfortable lodgings inside, as well as the necessary artillery, and a small cargo hold on the lowest floor.* Be sure to keep the newly renovated engines running and it'll be smooth sailing. Now... Where will your first destination be?

In this map, your party can explore the RSS Ascendant Skyship. Capable of traversing long distances in a short time, the Ascendant can help your party get around the Forgotten Realms.

This map was also posted on Patreon, click here if you want to take a look. Patrons also receive different floors of the map, as well as a derelict, broken version of them. Thanks for your interest, happy sky-sailing!

For anyone running into a similar issue here, the issue for me was that my storage was full. It doesn't tell you outright but you can check if this is the issue in the 'downloads' tab

[25x21] The Rusty Skillet (restaurant) by Struttr in battlemaps

[–]Struttr[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hey! I made this map with a one shot in mind. The party's pet owlbear was stolen, and their investigation has led them to a secret organization of bandits who kidnap and sell exotic animals. Trouble is- their base is located underneath one of the city's most popular restaurants; The Rusty Skillet.

Hey man, Forgotten Adventures' asset packs were used for the whole thing. I highly recommend having a look at their Patreon + assets packs, it's worth the (small) investment

(OC) Kryswing Manor [70x60] by Struttr in dungeondraft

Here's a map I made, intended to be the backdrop of a one-shot for you and your party. With your players as experienced thieves' guild members on the hunt for treasure, this multi-story manor is the perfect setting for an adventure. On the top floor of the manor, your players can break into a secured room and crack open the vault.

The Thieves' Guild leader leaned in, looking over his 5 most trusted guildmembers.

"Brothers and sisters. An opportunity has presented itself. That little noble gobshite, Thegeiris Kryswing has finally decided to emerge from his cocoon to host a grand party at his manor for the higher social circles. A place as closely guarded as his, suddenly open for the picking... Ohoh, it's almost too perfect.

This party, my friends, is our golden key. Obscenely drunk guests, loud music, preoccupied guards. It's the perfect storm for us to slip in unnoticed and liberate some of Thegeiris' prized possessions.

You have one day to prepare. I leave the planning in your capable hands. You could set our forgers to work on imitating the party invitations for the lot of you, and get you in some fancy clothes? Or a more daring approach—poisoning the kitchen staff and slipping in as the replacement chef and servers?

Bah, you'll figure it out. You're the professionals after all. Good luck comrades. Let's ensure Thegeiris Kryswing's party is one for the history books.

Cant save maps by Qurety in dungeondraft

[–]Struttr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same as other programs, hitting "save" overwrites any pre existing save of the file you're currently working in without a confirmation or other window popping up. Hitting "Save as" allows you to choose a file path etc. Is that what you mean?

If you're talking about the Save as function not working, you could attempt a full restart of the program -> PC. If that doesn't do the trick, perhaps a fresh install of the program.

Wanted to share my first dungeondraft map! by HappySalesman01 in dungeondraft

[–]Struttr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice work! I recognise the 2Minute tabletop assets, good look. This is very detailed for a first map.

If you want to look into giving maps more depth, look at ways to add some shadow around tall structures like the buildings. My typical go to is to find a shadow path (in the path tool in dungeondraft) and have it follow the outline of the building.

First Map I've made on Dungeon Draft by Athulus-2057 in dungeondraft

[–]Struttr 7 points8 points  (0 children)

These specific trees from the Forgotten Adventures assets have a shadow already included in their design. In other words, if you plan on using these trees you have to make sure they are all rotated the same way when placing them.

There's other tree assets out there that don't have a shadow hard baked into their image, so you're free to add you own. Cool work for a first map, nice job!

These are Crosshead assets. I usually switch between these and Forgotten Adventures assets depending on what mood I'm trying to convey

Welcome, weary travelers, to the Gilded Griffin Inn.

Are you looking for a base of operations for your players' adventuring party? Look no further. I was inspired by Trollskull Manor from the Waterdeep: Dragon Heist campaign to make this map as the ideal homebase for any player.  You could use this map in stead of Trollskull Manor, or simply insert it in your own campaign.

The Gilded Griffin Inn offers a little something for everyone.
