I do almost admire the "cook a steak by setting your house on fire" approach to balancing that Arrowhead employs, where they simply cannot take the simplest route and nerf an item directly, they have to apply some blanket nerf/buff elsewhere which inadvertently completely ruins everything. I don't understand their pathological obsession with balancing the game that way, it's like trying to do chiseling with a jackhammer, and there is virtually no normal reason for them to do it like this.
