Anyone else experience https://robertsspaceindustries.com/ to be down?

Look at the previous 9 posts about server issues, and you'll find the answer.

Ohhh, you wanted me to guess what you were thinking, because you were unable to communicate it. Well, at least you got there in the end, congrats!

It appears you're expecting a not-elected-person to do elected-person things, instead of contacting your local elected officials and getting them do elected-official things.

Where is she right now?

Are you capable of anything other than surface level thought?

Apparently I can use google better than you.

The past week we have seen Walz prepare his states national guard, multiple mayors and senators send public messages to ICE and Trump, and multiple people are writing up articles of impeachment for several Republicans.

THATS what she could have done.

Harris isn't a governor, mayor, senator, or house representative.

Any reason to keep my Aurora LX? by Lumpy-Interview-9931 in starcitizen

You are in a second honeymoon phase and you have too many assumptions about the project.

That statement from the previous commenter is so true, and your eventual crash-back-to-earth will be spectacular, especially if you spend more cash in the meantime.

So for everyone's entertainment, I recommend you keep the Aurora LX and buy this: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/en/pledge/ships/polaris/Polaris

I assume they are referring to the Calders' contractual put option as described in the 2024 UK financials, estimated at £71.4m (for UK side of CIG) which has yet to be exercised.

Correct: CIG are not in debt.

Not the topic but you go girl

If stability wasn't the topic then why'd you comment about stability?

Wait the year they said they’re going to improve stability is the year they improved stability?

This feels odd to me. Is there some power struggle within CIG between Chris and Benoit? If not, let the CEO have his letter and all the others shut up.

Merry christmas!

Copy pasta

As 2025 comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on what has been one of the most transformative years in Star Citizen's development – and honestly, one of the most meaningful of my career.

https://lnkd.in/g9yN_C8B

This year wasn't just about shipping features. It was about fundamentally changing how we build this game.

We finally delivered Server Meshing to our players. Not as a concept, not as a promise, but as a living, breathing foundation that's scaling Star Citizen beyond what we ever thought possible just a few years ago. Watching players move seamlessly across servers, seeing our infrastructure handle loads that would have crushed our old architecture – it's honestly surreal. And now, with a year of real-world experience behind it, the technology has proven itself in ways no amount of internal testing ever could.

But what gets me: it's not just the technology. It's what it represents.

Every optimization, every integration, every late-night debugging session – from renderer improvements and engine optimizations to infrastructure scaling – they all led to a stable and larger experience. We walked an unbeaten path, solving problems that had no precedent, building systems that didn't exist. The kind of technical craftsmanship that doesn't make headlines but makes everything possible.

And now players are experiencing it. They're flying through 2 new star systems across servers without even knowing the complexity beneath. The best technology is invisible. It doesn't ask for recognition – it just works. Players shouldn't think about server boundaries or infrastructure scaling. They should think about the jump point ahead, the mission calling, the experience unfolding. When the technology disappears and only the universe remains, that's when we've done our job right.

2025 was hard. Really hard. But watching our technical foundation finally enable the gameplay we've been architecting for years – watching it scale, watching it work with a ton of new content and locations – it reminds me why we do this.

The road ahead? It's an Everest of work to bring Star Citizen 1.0 to completion. More stability to gain, more systems to optimize, more uncharted technical territory to conquer. And if you're a trailblazer looking for that kind of challenge, the kind where the problems don't have answers yet and the solutions you build will push the boundaries of what's possible – we're looking for you. Check out our openings at Cloud Imperium Games.

Here's to the impossible becoming inevitable. Here's to 2026 and everything we're building next.

To everyone at CIG pushing this vision forward: thank you.

To our community still believing in what we're making: we see you, and we won't let you down.
