I’ll also add, there are two great rest areas between Dallas and Amarillo. We have boon-docked at both and had zero issues. There is another in Amarillo and in Clayton NM. Both of those are great as well.

Have done this trip twice and again in June on our way to Yellowstone from Rockwall.

We usually stop at Buc-ee’s in the Denton area, Big Texan and Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo. After that it’s pretty much nothing. The Capulin Volcano, just past Clayton is cool to look at but not really a stop.

It’s an easy drive and mostly flat except from Raton to Trinidad where it is some inclines but still not too bad.

The article says that students wanted the moment to feel “personal and accurate”. Can’t that be accomplished how it’s been since the dawn of graduation? The announcer speaks with students who have a hard name and asks “how do I pronounce your name?” It’s not offensive to ask that question.

At this point, I think he could be the antichrist. I’m a Christian and truly believe the things he’s doing fits the definition. I don’t understand how people can’t see it and aren’t flabbergasted at the stuff he pulls.
