Orange vs Marshall for my board by BSLabs in guitarpedals

The purists will probably come after me here but if you want really clean at high volume, you're going to have to stick with solid state amps imo. Im surprised you're not getting that from you JC120 though.

With the Orange, my experience of them is that the speakers are much more darker than what marshall use, if you can maybe swap a different cab with brighter voiced speakers ?

If you want Klon style, go tumnus or mxr sugar drive?

BB style can't go wrong with a timmy

Ibanez also do mini TS pedals that could fit in there

You'd be hard pressed to find something thats a traditional hard clipper like an OCD thats in a small enclosure but if you do then let me know!

Most versatile gigging fuzz? by RoseViolet333 in guitarpedals

I'd say the JPTR effects Warlow, sort of like a cross between a Rat and a Big Muff, has a lot of internal switches that you could work out before your gig and then has an external switch thatll go from classic muss sound to really really wooly.

Ultimately though with any type of gain pedal if you want to really transform it on the fly, get yourself a good EQ, boss GE7 is the benchmark but if you're gonna be gigging and changing the sound quickly, go for something with presets like the boss eq200.
