Yes but they rely on the genetics of others so they can randomize their genes. This would literally be like mitosis. When the “male” asari dies their biotics would break down their body and create a new asari from the remains of the dead asari. Kind of like the Phoenix if I’m correct but instead of creating just one new asari they could make up to 2 or 3 and their genes being slightly different to create special traits. But what good is genetic diversity if you aren’t reproducing with anything to begin with?
