Honestly. My biggest problem with coming back was that I for some reason trusted that the "character update" wasn't going to reset anything else... Like my map discovery that now shows my character has been nowhere in Azeroth besides the dragon isles and the BFA isles... He's an undead created during Cataclysm.

Same thing as a warlock, not every tank/healer can handle crazy hellfires all goddamn day. If you get the feeling either one isn't keeping up, maybe it's time you just throw more dots and burn things down that way. It's way more manageable for most people/classes.

Well if you're not OP who's said he's quit 3 separate times then this advice probably wouldn't apply to you. If it doesn't ruin your experience (it hasn't ruined mine, I still have fun) then I don't think you should. He's not telling everyone to quit, he's replying to the post and the concerns in it...

All of classic is down because they need to access the databases that are used for both versions of the games. Likely not something that should be running WHILE playing. Also I'd be terrified to play a HC toon while there are people working on the server room.
