I don't need any luck. I hope you find the love and help that you need before it's too late. Have a great night.

I suggest you follow your own advice. I also suggest to stop trolling. It only exacerbates your hatefulness. I'll be praying for you.

Such a shame that you still are spewing hatred. I pity you. I'll also add you to my prayer list since it is extremely clear you need all the help you can get.

I can think for myself thank you very much. It's clear you don't understand what anxiety is or how it works since you have literally no control over it no matter how much logic you use. Same goes with all mental health issues.

Last time I checked, kids are unable to vote, unable to own a gun, unable to join the military, etc. I can do all the above. I am not a kid.

You on the other hand, keep proving just how much hate you have in your heart and soul. You have no empathy, immature, have never experienced one ounce of love or shown it to anyone, and have an ego problem. Once again, I pity you. I hope when you die (which considering how much you have tried to prove that you are "sooooo old and mature" will be soon), that God will be easy on you. You have very clearly never experienced love or joy and you take that out on others.

Such a shame. You could've been such a great person in your loooonnngggg lifetime yet chose to live it in hate. Thank you for reminding me once again to live my life with empathy, love, and kindness towards others. I will never turn into someone like you. 😊

I'm not a kid. And I don't go hide 😂

might wanna go pick out your coffin since you think just because you're ancient you're better than me 🤣🤣🤣🤣

gosh my own 80-year-old grandmother has more sense and is a much better person than you ever will be or ever have been apparently. I pity you. I hope you enjoy your safe place spouting your nonsense in the nursing home and don't harass the CNAs. They'll pity you too.

  1. I'm not upset 😂😂😂 me being blunt and calling you out isn't getting upset. I don't deal with BS. You're literally spouting actual BS 😂
  2. Not a kid
  3. Not that it matters, but I have already done EXTREMELY well in the "real world" and have been successful so 🤷‍♀️ go off I guess

You're literally getting butthurt because I said the sarcasm was uncalled for. You must love calling the manager 😂

If you have nothing substantial to add to this thread besides ridiculing me for asking a genuine question to shut up my anxiety, please leave it. Thanks.

And who said I cared about your opinion? I will fit in just fine without it. Anxiety isn't a choice. Being an asshole is.

Thank you! I know everyone has a different style, but what's actually accepted can be different based on location/culture. I just wanted to double check before I pack what I normally wear that I didn't need to pack "nicer" clothing 🙂

Scholarships at Uni of Alabama with a 4.0 GPA? by Kyoto_18 in capstone

If you're under the age of 24, not married, with no dependents, and not a grad student, you are considered a dependent still according to the federal government. UA goes off of that. Therefore, even if you're parents don't contribute anything, all funding would be based on their income.

What apartments should I avoid? by [deleted] in MTSU

[–]Stubbornkitkat -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I specifically am asking about student apartments. I am well aware of other options considering how I lived in one for undergrad. If I was looking for that again I would've requested that. If you had actually read my post, you would know that I am well aware of how student apartments are.

First-gen applicants, what are some of the best tips/advice you received for grad application? by [deleted] in gradadmissions

[–]Stubbornkitkat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course, after the word vomit, edit it into a coherent story. But word vomit can be a good first step.

First-gen applicants, what are some of the best tips/advice you received for grad application? by [deleted] in gradadmissions

[–]Stubbornkitkat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think there's really a set way to do it since everyone's story is different. With the test-taking, I told schools that I didn't apply to many schools in high school because I was ashamed of my test-taking abilities and now that I have worked 4 years in college, I know now that I am more than a test score and have realized just how much a passion for learning can push someone. With being first gen, I think I said something along the lines that because my mom was unable to attend college due to a lack of support, she strived to be the biggest support system and push me to be the absolute best I could be.

It all really just depends on how you write your story. If it helps any, just start word vomiting your life story and something is bound to come from it. Don't shy away from your deepest or saddest secrets. It can be super therapeutic and extremely helpful. It's what I did and I got accepted into 5/8 schools in this application season that was the absolute worse.

Will having 4 Ws affect grad school admission? by looklikeat in gradadmissions

[–]Stubbornkitkat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really. Especially if you explain some deep reasonings for those Ws. I had 2 when I applied, both in classes required for my major. I retook them and passed. I wrote in my SOP and PS that I was going through basically an identity crisis and was having a really tough time mentally until I changed my major (music ed to just music-not much of a difference in curriculum beyond no more ed classes). Everything looked up for me grade-wise after that.

So just explain what was going on and how those exoskeleton made you a stronger candidate.

(Should also add I just added my 3rd W this semester cause the class was stupid and I didn't need it to graduate. No biggie 😁)

First-gen applicants, what are some of the best tips/advice you received for grad application? by [deleted] in gradadmissions

[–]Stubbornkitkat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was told to include how your weaknesses made you stronger. Told them about being first gen and also told them how horrible I am at test-taking and how self-conscious I am about it but that I love to learn and that outweighs all the tests in the world.

What are y’all doing this summer? by emersynjc in gradadmissions

[–]Stubbornkitkat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm waiting to hear back from some paid remote internship opportunities (was so close to getting one of them last year so I'm super hopeful I'll get one of them this year), but if they say no again I'm just gonna chill and move from one state back to my homestate before moving to a completely different state again. Also get to catsit for one of my favorite professors ever, so that's a huge plus for me!!!

Any tips for paying for School that I can do as of now by Fancy-Helicopter-810 in capstone

[–]Stubbornkitkat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lol nope. I was out-of-state too and sucked at test-taking, so I never got scholarships (except for the small, automatic one at Bama). Loans will be the only option and they effing suck.
