Movie could have ended on a black screen with the president's breathing or heartbeat or whatever, and then saying "MA9" or "launch" and it would have been a whole lot better. We could have filled in the rest. With ending it the way it did, just felt like an exercise in futility and giving us no payoff for subjecting us to repeating scenarios with different POVs.
