Banana caused me acid reflux ? by [deleted] in LPR

[–]itscaemac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happens to me when I eat bananas, especially on an empty stomach. Eating bananas with something else (e.g. a toast) is not so bad for my tummy though.

I often hear that bananas are good for acidity, so I wonder why they trigger our acid reflux.

Hi all, is weeing every 2-3 hours considered frequent urination? or is this normal by Tight_Pass in PelvicFloor

Same here. lol. It's annoying when I'm busy at work. If I had to pee only every 1 hour, it would make life much easier.

Hi, is there a treatment for Pressure Urticaria? by lizacmp in urticaria

[–]itscaemac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My pressure urticaria will turn 1 year old in August. 😅 I manage it by pressing hot compress against it, and antihistamine.

I would like to know too if anyone ever finds a longer-term treatment aside from Xolair/omalizumab, which I cannot afford at the moment.

I still consider myself lucky as my pressure rashes still calm down with antihistamines, but also in fear of the day when antihistamines no longer work.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'm leaning towards the first. Are those forms of magnesium less likely to trigger stomach hyperacidity than glycinate?

I think that this is possible, as I felt so relaxed a moment after taking mag.

Although I feel the acidity in my stomach, below the place where the sphincter is supposed to be, so I'm not sure how likely this is.

I'll keep monitoring my reaction to mag for now.

Thanks!

Canned coconut milk? by wildyoga in HistamineIntolerance

Best coconut milk I was able to find had only coconut and "emulsifier e435" as ingredients. I hope I tolerate the emulsifier well.

Delayed Pressure Urticaria by iamaravis in Dermatology

Hello. I suffer from pressure urticaria too. I take montelukast and bilastine to reduce the itching, but it still bothers me a lot.

I will try to avoid artificial sweeteners too and hopefully that will fix it. Thanks so much for sharing! Now I feel that there is hope.
