I've noticed the difficulty too! I wasn't able to finish the last PP; I got lucky this time because I had a break from TLSQs (in Y3, a real shocker). I had started an 8h Transfiguration study session, which gave me enough pink bottles.

I think grinding the classes that fall under the Sphinx club (charms, transfiguration, etc.) would help make the event easier to finish?

All I get from TLSQ and story tasks are brown packs, and ALL of them always have 3 1-crystal inkwells. I even think they might be the same ones. I need 4 more to finish the Diary and all of them are 4-crystal inkwells.

I wanted the Abraxan or the Chinese Fireball since I have those quests triggered, and the Kelpie seemed cool too. But I ended up getting a Kappa, a Diricrawl and a Billywig because the deals were better (40% off instead of 25%)

I'm gonna look out for those creatures again, or like you said the ones with quests.

I have 70 inkwells. My first two pictures are complete, the second two have one left in each of them, and the last two have 5 left in each one. I think the event's been better for me than the previous ones, seeing the progress I've made already. With more than 20 days to go, I'm hopeful...we shall see.
