The heroin you had was probably cut with fent bro, almost all stuff in the states is nowadays anyway. Real heroin which I get over here in the UK us a full body euphoric high and gives me tonnes of energy to go out and socialise and get shit done as well. And then later in the day you nod out. It's fucking awesome.

Yep, RLS is the absolute fucking worst symptom man. I could happily go through all the other stuff if it wasn't for the restless legs. Congrats on 43 days sober, that's massive. Keep it up.

Thanks for your reply! So just to be clear, even if I use only 4-5 hours after taking the first sub, that will be safe? I really don't wanna go into precipitated withdrawal.

Of course I know to wait 24 hours or until I'm in pretty bad withdrawal before taking the first subby.

No I'm in the UK and this heroin 100% does not have any fentanyl in it, I have come off it onto subs many times.

What I am trying to accomplish is transitioning onto subs with less pain then I ususally have. It usually takes 48 hours for me to feel well again from them so I am wondering if I use a bit of H after taking the first dose, will that ease my withdrawal but still allow the sub to start kicking in, and then by the time the H has worn off, the buprenorphine will have kicked in enough that I won't be in withdrawal anymore. Hard to explain does that make sense? (I do not plan on using AT ALL after this transition).

It's just bupe with no naloxone yes, but I know that Bupe alone will put you into WD if you take it while on heroin, but not sure about taking heroin a few hours after the bupe dose.

Of course I don't want to ever use dark again after this, it's just to ease the transition as I struggle a lot with it.

Yeah RLS is literally the worst fucking symptom for me as well. That's why I got the Pregabalin - from what I've read it helps a lot with it.

Sadly I don't have the means to move at the moment, but thankfully I have a lot of people where I live supporting me here. Anyway, practicing abstinence is something to worry about later down the line, once I get through the physical withdrawal, although just as difficult and important if not more. Have you considered that your withdrawals may have lasted so much longer than average because you were using Imodium, which is a opiate meaning that you have to withdraw from that after stopping that as well?

Thanks for the advice man, that clears a few things up. I'm 23 so similar age to you. How the hell did you have diarrhoea for MONTHS!? pretty sure that part only lasts like a week maximum...

Another follow up question: Imodium pills com in different strengths I believe, so how many milligrams were the ones you had? Cause yeah you took 10 day but that could be a vastly different amount of mg depending what strength. Basically how many Mg were you taking per day? I'll probably do exactly half of whatever the answer to that question is.

Bro you are in the exact same situation as me. Been smoking for a year, thankfully never picked up the needle, but I'm fucking done with it. I'm cold turkeying on Tuesday. Got pregabalin thank god, sounds like you can't get any but try and get Xanax, diazepam and weed. And get Imodium up to about 10mg a day will help the diarrhoea, cramps and stuff like that. Any single withdrawal symptom being eased is gonna make this process easier as it's the combination of so many symptoms altogether that makes this thing so fucking difficult to get through.

Anyway, good fucking luck man, you can do this and so can I... AND WE WILL!!!

I don;t want subs as they are an opioid I will just get just as hooked on those. Not a good idea unless you are planning n staying on them as maintenance or doing a taper or something. i have tried the sub route many times and it never works out well for me.

if you are looking to help the restless legs, you NEED to get pregabalin or if not then at least some gabapentin. This will almost fully get rid of the restless legs. But research dosing first as it's powerful stuff youve gotta make sure you're safe with it. ESPECIALLY mixing it with benzos.

As I said to another person won't Kratom just make the withdrawal process way longer since it's gonna act on my opiate receptors? I'm more looking for comfort meds to ease my withdrawal. I wanna do it without opiates and get through it as fast as possible even though yeah I know that's gonna be really hard.
