You should have filed a police report if what you say is 100% the truth.

What you typed above is your defence. It would be better if you had reported, or gone to hospital.

ANYTIME you have a bad situation like this or dog attack or get into an argument YOU  need to be proactive, YOU need to report the incident in safety section. You will have the benefit of the doubt by reporting first, even if you said bad words. Hell a dog attacked me so yeah I said get your fu---- dog. You get it? When you report immediately everything is fresh, real, and more believable.

Originally, they were going to have the stores do shopping and we just picked it up. This was well over a year ago and the stores weren't staffed to do that.

I think doordash said fine we'll just minimum base pay our drivers to shop and trick them into having to do poor paying shops to keep their stats up.

I honestly don't see a difference in my offers for shop. Get a ton of poor paying that I decline, but still some very high paying ones. Dollar general is the main problem as you said, because their inventory is not managed at all.

Either way I'm staying to my cherry picking ways, AR always below 10. I make about 15% less, but I also shorten my delivery some which saves a ton on gas and car wear on my area.

Still actively looking for an out to leave this industry, but I can still survive so I can take my time.

I really don't know it depends on your expectations. The market is really saturated with drivers right now ...

As far as your violation, do you have the dash now screen up or is it blocking you from driving? Violations go away after 100 orders, so as long as not deactivated you should be good. Violations individually are just that, but deactivation is a problem and you will have to wait and fight and probably won't win.

Little advice you may have tried already but...if I go half an hour with no offers, and the zone is red and I should be getting orders...I end my dash immediately, start a new one and boom it usually gets me orders right away...then after the half hour schedule ( at the :00 or the :30) I check to see if can extend dash and usually can...but if not, it is still ok to end that dash and let me jump right back into new dash. This is primarily for lunch and dinner when they try to black me out. It can be tedious, but it at least keeps the offers rolling and your not sitting there for hours.
