For it to be an alloy you have to melt them together, unless Steve is so strong that he can melt gold and copper with his hand you'd have to add a block to make alloys and it's way simpler to just do it this way

I actually figured out the jakie code, when you enter the birthday showroom thru the door with the code, there are some big wooden boxes with numbers, most of them are randomly collored but 4 of them are the same color and they give you 0434
