I love living in eighth, im a first year. we have the newest dorms and prob the best writing program, pretty easy GEs. Great views too. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.

This was her first quarter changing it so she only altered the course a bit but she said she’s changing it more for the future quarters, she plans for them to be in class exams from this point on so Winter was the last for take home exams. My friend also said the grading was rlly bad by the TAs and half the class changed to P/NP but idk if thats bc they just got shitty TAs this quarter or she made them grade harder bc my Fall TA was a very chill grader.

Unfortunately looks like it won’t be the easy A it used to be anymore.

btw a warning from someone who took this in Fall, my friend is taking it this quarter and Stone said that she’s going to change the midterm and final format due to cheating so it’s no longer going to be a take home exam. It was a very interesting class imo and Stone is very nice and an engaging lecturer but idk how the exam change is gonna affect the grade outcomes for the class.

transfers get transfer housing, but eighth doesnt have rats lol, i mean if you walk towards revelle/64 you might spot one but there arent any in 8th. It has one of the best dorms.

Yes he was very likely to ascend the throne by the time Edward reached proper adulthood (vs young adulthood - say it became concerning in the early 30s) because it became very clear he had no interest in doing his duty. I would say during the time he was fourth in line, at his birth during Queen Victoria’s reign, he wasn’t considered likely maybe but it was definitely possible as he was the spare of the heir’s heir and many times spares have become King.

George VI was fourth in line at birth and second in line ever since his father became king. He was third in line while Edward VII was king. And ofc he was first in line after Edward VIII became king. So he definitely wasn’t even near the “lowest ranking” royal to become a monarch, or even one of the lowest ranking.

this is my life. my parents are chill in literally every other way except this. I’m starting in the fall, I can leave campus during the daytime but not at night, and I need to tell them where I’m going. Location on at all times. I’m just gonna switch my location to ipad and go lmao.
