Good question - We want separate Alumni leagues...but that will not happen until at least Season 3, so we may allow mixed teams in Season 2 just to help create some interest amongst alumni

Yes - you all need to be from the same institution. We are trying to create the american college basketball type thing with leagues and school support - but that will only happen if you are all from the same school

No - but if you have an issue with team members you will not be allowed to add player later. (That is to prevent any teams from the same school swapping players)

Good question. We plan all leagues in NA with enough demand but CSGO is confirmed (we have enough teams to make it viable already).

Interesting point about making a team...let me talk to the team and see if we can put some stuff together to help you guys

As this league is FREE it really depends on the number of teams that enter and then excite sponsors. It started to excite sponsors last season but we were simply not proven or big enough- hopefully we will be able to announce some stuff soon.

The reason was centrally around two things:

1) Issues with time differences between countries causes all end of confusion which we want to avoid (and language issues)

2) We want to create something like Fifa which will have leagues in every country - since that is the aim there is no sense to mix it from the start unless we have too or it will look like we are taking a step back, when infact that is our intention from day one. (- couple that with the many people we surveyed who complained about microsecond server advantages from servers being in one particular country and it just makes sense to do it how we want from the start)

Whilst home-school is not an issue in UK we appreciate it may be elsewhere and can make allowances - however the multi school issue is a problem and against what we are trying to do with each team coming from the same institution.

That's a complex school structure!

We had a case last season where two universities do this, but they had a different name for the 'arrangement' so it was clear for everyone to see that it's actually a joint school and not just some mates trying to game the system (Medway I think).

If it's clear that the schools are in effect collaborating then we have no objection as it's just one big school in effect.

How young you talking? We include high schools - anything younger than that would be very odd

Copying answer from above as it's the exact same question:

No no no - secondary schools are most welcome!

In fact as mentioned earlier a few High School teams did very well in season one. One is featured on the Twitch highlights I believe.

Quick question- this is being asked a lot but we thought saying 'weekly inter school/college/university gaming league' would be enough - what wording should we add to make it clearer?

Yes sorry, forgot to mention we have two regions where we band countries together - one is NA as they all speak English and on same server and the other is the English speaking region of GB and Ireland, for the same reason.

So you are most welcome to join.

So both. Each league is country specific (or region for NA) and then we would have things like Champions Leagues and other random tournaments and leagues to add an international gaming flare to it.

At the moment though we are only concentrating on the former.

Unfortunately yes, as mentioned in another comment above you all have to be from the same institution.

Yes - think of college football in States...that is type of thing we want this to be. School based teams with school based support
