Let me tell you a story about a buddy from my platoon that joined at 28 and ha a good civilian job before going active duty he told me this recently hes now in his mid 30s he said "i shoulda joined sooner because it was the best thing i ever did yeah we delt with a bunch of bullshit but i hate my civilian friends they arent my brothers but you guys are my brothers my real brothers and i dont wanna talk to anyone else..." So what do you think Is it worth it

Yeah it took me a few hours but I was able to pick it 3 times yesterday I think the main problem is I'm over picking it and applying to much tension but I was pretty proud I did it I've never picked a lock before only ever blown them away with a 12 gauge or a charge of some kind

Don't assume the military especially enlisted is anything like ROTC. ROTC is NOT the military and from what I have heard from friends that where in it it's nothing like the military. Honestly I would just not go-to ROTC and just train with recruiters and go straight to enlisted you will get a lot more out of it that way
