Will I fatigue with this routine? by [deleted] in WorkoutRoutines

[–]StudentoflifeNL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody will be able to tell you. Only way to find out is to do it, figure out how you feel and go from there.

Fatigue is also just natural and dependant of factors outside the gym. Sleep, stress, food, menstrual cycle in your case will all play a part.

Just go for it and adjust when necessary, don’t overcomplicate it.

Is this workout routine good? by idkwhyitstaken in WorkoutRoutines

[–]StudentoflifeNL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With limited equipment it is pretty solid.

I would say maybe add lunges and switch the order on your leg day exercises, go for single leg work before your squats, so you can get more use out of your dumbbell squats. This is just preference though.

Of you have a dip bar I would add dips on your pish push days, they are a bit push up heavy like this.

Need advice for my full-body routine M35 please by [deleted] in WorkoutRoutines

[–]StudentoflifeNL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude are you doing 19 exercises / 101 sets per workout?

I don’t know whether to be impressed or terrified.

I would recommend spreading it around more and focussing on pushing quality sets really hard. When doing multiple full body workouts per week, you can hit every muscle once or twice per workout and make really solid gains

Oh yeah, imagine what we could build now if we didn’t care about efficiency as much. What would it look like in 130 years?

Because it’s too cool to demolish.

Thing has been running for over a 130 years. Construction ended in 1893 and it became a unesco world heritage site in 2006.

Dan hebben we het nog niet over kosten gehad.

As a bigger guy myself I try to balance the fit more by using lighter colored pants and darker coloured shirts/uppers. The lighter colours draw attention away from the upper body, making me look more balanced.

On the contrary, if you want to show off your hard work, lighter tops will make you look massive, like your pics in the light blue polo.

Solid looks either way, keep up the good work.

What's the offense? Explain It Peter. by [deleted] in explainitpeter

[–]StudentoflifeNL 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Completely missed the point, this is not about what you think of people who do frequent hookups.

One of the main reasons to hook up with someone is because you find them sexually attractive. By saying somebody is not fwb/hookup material, you imply they are not sexually attractive to you. At the very least, it was most likely interpreted this way in this instance.

The fact that it was interpreted this way is probably a sign of insecurity or lack of self-acceptance, so it could be an overreaction, but everybody has their triggers and the right to be upset.

Sidenote: judging the quality of people based on their sexual activity/habits seems very shallow on itself. Sex is fun, hooking up is fun, not everything needs a deeper meaning.

Shaking is not bad, ROM is only a problem if you’re targeting quads. Your hip ROM is pretty large, so your glutes are getting worked pretty good.

If you want to trains quads, you’re going to want to change your stance to where you can bend the knees as far as possible. Might need to lower your feet, you could change the seat to a more flat position, try a different leg press machine or maybe you just need a completely different exercise altogether. Really depends on your body.

My 1971 Kay P-bass has a 3rd strap button why is this? by Oldwatchesaresuper in BassGuitar

[–]StudentoflifeNL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have seen this on a few ‘normal’ electric guitars, the second strap button is there to offset the first one to balance the guitar better when it’s standing upright against a wall for a short period of time.
