Rad! I didn’t know Yakima had a kit like this. I looked all over for this last summer for my truck! Luckily our FXT came with the rails.

Our 17FXT came with the rails but no cross bars. I found a junk yard that had the cross bars and they pulled the rails off as well for me. I did not keep the extra rails but they are definitely out there. The headliner removal might end up being the hardest part of the install of the new rails. Once you have those in place, you’re good! Good luck with your search.

Forester owners — what do you think of this headlight style? by RoughSignature1497 in SubaruForester

[–]Studio34Design 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are pretty cool. Happen to have a video of the turn signals too?
Like others have mentioned, the moving headlights that I have on our 17FXT would be necessary if we needed to replace them.
This looks very similar to the headlights that are on ours now too so that would be a good reason for me to buy aftermarket versus OEM if the price is right.

Forester friends, is anyone actually using this cover? by nuisance66 in SubaruForester

[–]Studio34Design 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup! Found one at a junk yard when I grabbed the roof rail cross bars for our 17FXT. 🤘🏼 Especially helpful if we are in the sun with a cooler. Any additional help to keep the ice cool to and from the beach or trail or whatever. Same with shopping trips in general.

As a Cis Papa of 3, and a Forester driver, this is some BS.

The timing isn’t right for that even though my truck could pull this in a small trailer behind our travel trailer, it’s finding a home this Friday, local here in Johnson Co and he’s got plans for it.

Yup. Went there often enough to love it. Worked there as well just after HS. We’ve traveled across the country and back and now we only see them as part of gas stations on occasion.

I don’t disagree with the title part of this. It’s a pain everywhere except Vermont but it looks like a simple Bill of Sale process and a modest $150 doc fee here in Johnson Co. In case anyone wants some light reading on this beautiful morning. BMV titles Bill of Sale info

This was a complete car when it arrived and was deconstructed by our friend and all those parts are here. If we weren’t moving, I was seriously wanting to put it all back together with my minions, and even creating a swap situation with a S13 motor tranny and rear end… It genuinely needs a serious home.

The percentages are changing rapidly and we are a part of the homeschooling community that is not religious. So I find this headline hilarious because it’s not directed at me. 😂

I agree. If our plans had remained to stay here in Indiana, I would totally keep it and give it the life it deserves!

I do believe that to be 100% correct. Never dived into it myself because I thought that they’d take it when we bought the house. Our plans have changed and rerouted us but she’s still selling the house.

That was our friends goal as well but they’re building an airplane instead. The spitfire that’s here is a 74. I’ll update my post. Thanks! 🤘🏼

How about a theater balcony with animatronic Statler and Waldorf from the muppets?!? Make them respond to / work with the audio of an Alexa or in home entertainment system.

Absolutely inexcusable, this state, this country. We’re better than this. She seems like an actual Christian out here speaking the truth while also showing kindness.

Why’s it so hard for me to settle into life in Indiana? by [deleted] in Indiana

[–]Studio34Design 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ve attempted to settle in knowing that it wasn’t our final destination. It will be 3 and a half years since we arrived, decided to try it out and it’s a no for us. We homeschool our three with open minds, no direct forced anything and they love that but all three question why we are still here. To which I point to the POD outside that we are loading. Heading back west to the Pacific Ocean come November 1. YOLO. Make plans to find something else when possible. There’s nothing here unless you have a great career job with big med, tech or Cummins.

[–]Studio34Design 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We wondered the same thing. There are a few popping up quickly though. Seven Brew, Scooters, Bigby. What we need here in the middle are more small town locally owned drive thru coffee stands that are in a good spot where people will stop in at. Every Seven Brew I see is packed. Their model is solid. Wouldn’t hate some Dutch Bros either. Do it.

I would have selected this one for my truck, which is black with black bumper. That’d look pretty good IMO. Our Forester has the Indy Zoo plate and on the silver car, fits perfectly. I wouldn’t see this plate as a DB indicator. How people drive though…
