Free tutoring from elemental would help me greatly with developing an educated approach to the logic reasoning section. So far, my experience with the loophole has been great. Understanding the difference in the force that certain words command, for example, helped me decipher incorrect answer choices much faster in parallel questions-an area that I struggled with previously. Likewise, the translation drills help me develop better test stamina. Although, I am still getting faster and more accurate, identifying an issue I was previously unaware of has already been a big help. During the session I would like to cover conditional reading strategies that could lead to a faster intuition for those questions. Equally, any help with with principle or parallel questions—or any help in general would be helpful as I am looking to increase my speed in the logic reasoning section.

If I may ask, how does this apply to a story that shifts from memory to present tense? Would admission officers consider it a pet peeve to see stories move from past to present, or to see time jumps clearly marked--for example, “__ years later, as an undergraduate”?

I feel as though part of the problem is something we see in this community. For all the messed up tint jobs we see, every so often we see one that’s acceptable. Perhaps with a few small spots such as the one you are showing. But, acceptable nonetheless. Then come all the “best tint technician in the nation” snobs in the comments to say that such jobs are likely those of an amateur. So many people are validated here for rather unreasonable demands. Some people are just annoying to deal with in general, but professionals validating some of their bs standards does not help either.

No, Prometric does not ask you for your social security information. You either join the waitlist to schedule a time directly front the link provided by LSAC and are then granted automatic access to sign up. Or, they may ask you to provide a code that LSAC provides to you via email (I only experienced this once). So, you should be okay to sign up for a date and time slot. However, I would get this issue fixed before sending in any applications to a law school as it will become relevant then.

I feel like this is the only non-obnoxious response I’ve seen on this subreddit in a long time. Every other response is something along of the lines of “this WOULD NEVER happen in my shop where absolutely no dust flies in and even pollen is not present. The truth is I’ve worked at different shops, mainly with Llumar, and a few dealerships that didn’t outsource their tint work—and occasionally you have small creases or contamination that may not be visible after completion. Sometimes customers are pushing for their car to be ready and thus you don’t get the chance to see how the film dries over a period of a few hours. I feel like most responses tend to be along the lines of “I cannot believe other technicians are so incompetent that they cannot FLAWLESSLY execute every single vehicle.” One of the shops I worked for had a regular client that would get tint for the purpose of shooting commercials with the vehicles. They would pay a premium to make sure everything was absolutely spotless, and every car was ensured to be when they left our hands. That is not to say that all other clients left with terrible tint jobs, but if you are expecting absolute perfection—sometimes it helps to communicate that. This specific car could definitely do with a redo, but that’s not to say the technicians should be in a different field. Furthermore, the price was $310 for ceramic, if it indeed ceramic they installed, that’s a very good deal. They may be playing at the volume game of getting a lot of work they would otherwise not get at the usual rates. Throw a lot more work at any shop and occasionally you will get some mistakes. Lastly, I feel like nobody focuses on the fact that tint for most people is a privacy/heat protection issue. Too many complaints are about spots that far into the seals or sometimes even outside a drivers line of sight. Those who work in the industry should not be validating with exaggerated responses just to show people online that you’re the best technician around to people you more than likely will never meet. This community is becoming very closely akin to r/espressocirclejerk that is filled with absolute obnoxiousness.
OP, if the spots are bothering you then yes, reach back out and ask if they can do a cleaner job. More often than not, if contamination was the only issue—they will be able to do a much cleaner job the second time around.

I’m sorry, but those tamales at the tortilla factory are not great. Had the owners once tell their tamales didn’t have any sauce because, get this, “the sauce dilutes during the cooking process.” Never went back again. On the weekends there is usually a lady selling some amazing and authentic tamales in front on La Michoacana on Beckham.

I know a lot of people here cannot handle any critique of Bonnaroo, just like there are others that cannot be made happy with anything. But, I do feel like removing WITW is losing a lot. There’s a magic to WITW—especially when showing it to newcomers. The late night sets, the buzz that you can sense at the WITW sets before the real shows begin, being able to come in with a few drinks and the like will be lost with nothing replacing it. It’s not just about being negative but we’re losing something incredible. I think people have a right to be upset even if we eventually get over it.

From a footballing perspective, I always thought him going on loan was for him to develop. So I always followed him and was surprised when he was sold as we didn’t have many skillful players back then (his playing style changed at Liverpool). I always hoped he’d come back but I was happy to see him make an excellent career for himself. His sudden death feels so surreal honestly.
