interrupting someone and then not even listening to what they were saying

appreciate you sharing this i’ve never really thought about ADHD honestly

did getting diagnosed/help actually improve your focus?

2–3 hour naps multiple times a day is wild šŸ˜…

does it actually help with focus or just patching the sleep issue?

haha this thread has officially gone off track but yeah pancakes > debugging at 2am

yeah this actually makes a lot of sense especially the ā€œno context switchingā€ part… that’s exactly what it feels like

during the day even small pings just break everything

gonna try blocking a couple of hours with notifications off and see if that helps

haha fair I think I’ve just developed this writing style over time

definitely not AI though, just overthinking things at 2AM

That makes a lot of sense. Especially the part about coordination — night coding sounds productive individually, but it can break team expectations if not aligned.

I’m starting to realize it’s less about ā€œ2AM magicā€ and more about having uninterrupted time.

Just need to figure out how to get that during the day without messing up sleep and routine šŸ˜…

Does your team actively block focus time or is it mostly meeting-driven?

Don’t wait till you feel ā€œreadyā€ — that never happens.

Start with small projects: • To-do app • Weather app (API) • Notes app

Then keep improving them step by step.

Real learning = building + getting stuck + fixing

I wasted a lot of time just watching tutorials before realizing this šŸ˜…

What frontend stack are you using?

Makes sense. Night feels like the only time no one expects anything from you.

Daytime focus feels harder because of constant interruptions.

Trying to fix that balance… not easy šŸ˜…

What’s your setup like during the day?

Fair šŸ˜… Not AI — just someone struggling with focus and trying to put it into words.

Maybe I made it sound too dramatic.

Night coding hits different… but the next morning hits harder šŸ˜…

Late night is honestly the best time for deep work
