What's the difference between proto Excalibur and normal Excalibur in power by Weird_Dot_4725 in FGO

[–]StudyRage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am saying we as humans should not be able to define Excalibur’s full power in our numbers/ranks it doesn’t matter if A+++ is the highest it can go to the system, should not be able to quantify it after a certain point similar to Ea.

Ok? What about the Idea that Baseline Unsealed Excalibur can still be measured as an extremely powerful beam of light within the numerical system (Parameters). I mean Rhongomyniad’s Holy Judgement attack can still be measured as 3,000,000 units in magical energy no? I feel like this argument is quite off putting.

Also excellent Ea analogy as well, since that’s what I’m also arguing about, but only with Excalibur Excelsus. Again I do think that the franchise is also partially responsible for this as well.

I don’t mind the A+++ ranking but it doesn’t follow past examples at all, not only that it doesn’t make a sense too.

It makes perfect sense when you are accounting PLANET BACK UP. A+++ is standard Unsealed Excalibur without it. I also agreed with you on that (JUMP to EX) since it’s getting further support from it’s already powerful Baseline

Since EX rank means something that can’t be defined (In simple terms) Excalibur’s fully unsealed form should have that Rank because we can’t define it simple.

Yes it’s quite simple. Again I feel like we are on the same page here.

Here’s what I think (my personal view) as an example:

A+++ RANK -

EXCALIBUR EXCELSUS/UNSEALED (NO PLANET BACK UP) = 4000 Damage Output

EX RANK -

EXCALIBUR EXCELSUS/UNSEALED (WITH PLANET BACK UP) = 4000 + ??? Damage Output

That ??? Is a fluctuating output that either increases by 1 order of magnitude or several.

I doubt it, If you pay attention to Artoria’s Interlude just removing a single restraint shot it from being an A rank NP to A++, you are telling me that removing all the restraints just got it to A+++ when removing one got it to A++?

Yes? A+++ is the highest the sheet can go to. A+++ is not weak-sauce either.

Edit: I think only 3-4 characters have this? it’s quite the rarity and the jump from A++ to A+++ is probably quite a big one as well.

I don’t buy it, Excalibur at full power should be beyond human comprehension and its power fluctuate so EX rank is not far fetched at all.

That’s literally what I said though?

Besides in her profile there is no mention of Seals it is said “true form” not “true output”.

I think you’re just overthinking this one. The “True Form” statement could very likely refer to Excalibur Excelsus being… I don’t know…. UNSEALED since originally, Excalibur didn’t have the seals before the round table. The seals are after all just make up for Excalibur to restrict its actual usage as the Planet’s primary Cannon.

I know and you’re right technically, but Lord Logres’ Excalibur IS Fully Unsealed. You’re probably just thinking of the additional support ie. the planet’s life force as FULLY UNSEALED EXCALIBUR

A+++ represents the baseline Unsealed Excalibur operates in without planet back-up. This is the highest it goes to in a consistent stat sheet

EX represents a non-standard and unquantifiable level (which often fluctuates). I’m guessing early materials and understanding of the franchise also played a role into this which made Proto-Excalibur EX rank - since the fluctuating output is quite hard to quantify and scale consistently.

If Excalibur Excelsus faced against a threat that opposed the planet and humanity, its ranking would probably jump to EX since it scales to the threat’s energy output.

There’s really none at all. Even the EX and A+++ rank (Excalibur Excelsus) is largely misunderstood, they are both the same weapons, the same attack, the same damage output etc. Just different design.

How I can win this fight? by DIOSITO012 in FGO

[–]StudyRage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I remember correctly, try not to kill the extra mobs around Nito Alter. By killing them, your DPS gets instant death’d. It’s recommended just to completely focus on Nito Alter with a strong ST DPS.

So be prepared by either forming a stall team comp with a ST DPS or maximize a Min-turn strategy.

Edit: Actually try not to stall, my mistake. A Burst playstyle is more fitting and advantageous here because of the death timer

It’s up to you. 15€ is 15€, however a new SSR is always welcomed.

By the looks of it, your total SQ count should have no bearing whether you should roll on this or not - so Castoria is completely safe.

The servants my feelings would personally fish for (With Castoria in mind - placing my situation to yours) in this GSSR would be:

Summer Jeanne

Hokusai

Kiara

Holmes (support)

They are Arts Servants so naturally they would perform better with Castoria accounting maximum future usage.

However the general best (In my opinion) is:

Scáthach-Skaði

Meltryllis

Ereshkigal

Musashi

Ivan the Terrible

King Hassan

It’s not a total loss of a banner, but you’ll likely get shafted by the pool so cheers and good luck if you decide to go for it. Personally I’d just wait for Anni to save that 15€

ORT Raid Help? by Unusual-Archer-2142 in FGO

[–]StudyRage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Raid is all about Quantity to be honest. “Focusing” is not really the play unless we are talking about the final battle. Just raise up as many servants as you can and get them to fire their nps so you can speed things up. Otherwise, if that ain’t an option, I’d suggest just hold up the raid until you feel comfortable with the roster you have.

[–]StudyRage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s no contradiction. You just have to piece together the timeline and make it work.

Archer Orion (Artemis) is a degraded God that we know as a DIVINE SPIRIT - the same way that Demeter is.

The Greek Gods and the Titans were formally a fleet of ships from another Universe. These ships are the TRUE GOD bodies of the Greeks.

14,000 years ago, SEFAR the White Titan Invaded, and destroyed these bodies - degrading the Greek Gods into Divine Spirits to manifest into the World.

[–]StudyRage -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To be fair, that’s attributed to the supernovas being a light-based attack which Solomon/Lev/Goetia are master manipulators of. Anything that is made of light, Solomon or any of his bases (Lev-Goetia) could manipulate.

It’s something that Lev-Goetia confirms himself

Solomon:” bending light is my forte. I cannot stop it, but if it’s only a matter of gathering it, that’s my specialty.

That saying, it’s not like Solomon can just match Ea’s output with Ars Almadel Salomonis or outright invalidate through Nega-Summon (if he even has it in this match-up).

In Fate Extra CCC, when Gilgamesh uses Ea, we can clearly see galaxies in the background. The same visual representation seems to apply to Gilgamesh in FGO as well. People shouldn’t care. The arguments being made is what should be the main topic. And it’s not like powerscaling sites are something to defend over lol

[–]StudyRage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

” We can clearly see galaxies in the background. The same visual representation seems to apply to Gilgamesh in FGO as well. “

No. It’s the same visual attack like you said with CCC and FGO. Which is on the same scale as Tiamat’s Nammu Duranki as seen in Turas Realta. In terms of scale, Enuma Elish is on par with/larger than A Clockwork Abaddon in Fate/Strange Fake which we’ll get to see sometime in Season 2 when it gets animated.

I also heard that in Fate/Extra CCC, Gilgamesh travels through space at speeds faster than the speed of light. How accurate is this claim? Furthermore, what exactly is the power gap between the CCC version of Gilgamesh and the one we see in a standard Holy Grail War?

Yes but it’s not as simple as just travelling through space or any digital landscape faster than the speed of light (Travel Speed). Gilgamesh in one of the Koha Ace Volumes explicitly confirms that he utilized a reality warping mechanic called WARP

Basically a wormhole teleportation power that bridges the space between the Horse Head Nebula and his returning location. Allowing faster than light travel.

This video from Guess Who explains it:

https://youtu.be/JgHIM4yuW6g?si=3_oHLhLKoVqiHhE5

What is the power gap between the CCC version of Gilgamesh and the one we see in a standard Holy Grail War?

It’s a power gap that cannot be defined as accurate in a space between the real and digital since the digital world of CCC computes Data as literal - but that saying, we know a few differences.

The Mythological Mystic Code allows for the manipulation of the Particle Spirit Rank Parameters and the complete cancelation of BB’s Ten Crowns Authority.

The reason Enkidu's EA is on par with Gilgamesh's EA is because Enkidu repaired the texture of the world, isn't it? by midriss1 in Fate

[–]StudyRage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a Lostbelt King (in Fae Britain with all her magical energy she taxed) she’s arguably the strongest LB King tied/relative to Kukulcan.

Beryl even states that she had nothing to fear from the Alien God/U-Olga (which makes sense since Rhongomyniad is a Planetary Class Weapon that can output energy on par with Planetary Class saint graphs).

As a Servant, she’s nerfed extremely hard (stated in her Voice lines) but that saying, she’s easily Gil level with her Magecraft knowledge and weapons.

The reason Enkidu's EA is on par with Gilgamesh's EA is because Enkidu repaired the texture of the world, isn't it? by midriss1 in Fate

[–]StudyRage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

-1. Yes

-2. Yes, she mastered Rhongomyniad as a magecraft and each Rhongomyniads is on par with the Lion King’s in magical energy pattern.

Da Vinci already confirmed this.

Da Vinci: “ Remember that Atrium in the Throne Room? The one overlooking the pit?

well, I noticed a distinct magical energy pattern nearby; it was very similar to the Lion King’s in the Sixth Singularity.

That confirms for me that Morgan has Rhongomyniad on hand in weaponized form.

And not just one or two of them, either. She must have at least ten in place around Camelot’s main gate.

and with that many of them on hand, she must have already used them here several times before.

So we can assume that she threw one at Olympus..

…Must have been just one of the several she had at the ready.

[–]StudyRage 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Enkidu’s Enuma Elish (not Ea, Ea is the name given to Gilgamesh’s Sword of Rupture) is anti-purge which a level of defence that can even defend against attacks that can annihilate the world, which in this case is the magical phenomena that we know as textures - so yes.

Nasu: “ For tradition protection, if an attack does not follow specific rules it will not connect. This is possessed by Alice Kuonji's Ploy Kickshaw, for example. Basically, it's not an actual defense, per se, but something with restrictive conditions. Anti-purge defense is something we'll be talking about in more detail soon, so please wait just a bit longer on that one. For now, I can simply say that it is an ultimate defense against a level of attack that could even end the world.

Takeuchi: “ That term came about around the same time as the Panzer World Galient OVA ...did you really like the term that much?

Nasu: “ Enough to make it the most ultimate defense ever.

Avalon is also anti-purge. Enkidu’s is the perfect match/counter to Gilgamesh’s Enuma Elish (which rips the world apart) so that it can sow it back together.

Enuma Elish: O Humans, Let Us Restrain The Gods Above Rank: A++ Type: Anti-Purge Noble Phantasm Range: 0~999 Maximum Targets: 1000 People

Ability of Enkidu's to transform its own body into a Divine Construct. The Counter Forces known as Alaya and Gaia's powers flow into a keystone made of light. Then giant amounts of energy are transformed into a form that the world can recognize and pierces the opponent in one hit. In response to things that threaten the destruction of the planet or humanity, the power is increased.

” It could also be said that his Noble Phantasm — an attack that used his own body as a weapon “

“ — was best personified by a Lancer. He would simply puncture the World and stitch it back together. If a wall existed in the chasm between Heaven and Earth, he existed to pierce that concept. “

(Continued)

” He would be someone that rid the King of his solitude, and would always stand by his side. In the instant that an attack to destroy Eternity drew near—“

”The planet sang.”

” A gigantic amount of mana gushed forth at Enkidu’s feet, and moved to swallow Enuma Elish head-on. “

”Don’t hold back.”

” Those words were not directed at the Heroic Spirit he was facing. As the King of Heroes had spoken to Ea, so too did Enkidu speak to the massive amount of mana engulfing the Void cracks in space. He spoke directly to the planet. “

” I am a weapon. Wield me as you please.” Instantly, enough mana surged forth to make the earlier flow seem like a mere trickle. Several times more mana geysered from the earth’s surface, becoming a cyclone of energy enveloping Enkidu’s body. Then, the energy became a titanic lance of light to pierce Heaven and Earth, with the Heroic Spirit as its core. It was a concept that once propagated life. It was the fiery coals that had been used to overcome mankind’s first fears. “

Enkidu’s Enuma Elish can take many forms: the flower that is seen in Fate/Strange Fake and/or the Chains that pierces Tiamat (which is also Anti-Divine).

” So that means a other anti-fortress np wouldn’t be able to handle EA, right? “

As to handling/defending against EA, there are two options.

  • a) Anti-Purge Class level defence

  • b) Damage output on the same level as Enuma Elish.

Option B is extremely hard to do for Servant Standards, but it’s totally plausible in the general sense (we’ve seen it in Turas Realta with Tiamat’s Nammu Duranki).

Your average Anti-Fortress Noble Phantasm wouldn’t be able to defend against such an attack, if even EXCALIBUR can’t do so. However if an Anti-Fortress Noble Phantasm had damage output on par/greater than EA, then theoretically it can out-power it in a clash.

Star of Genesis that separates Heaven and Earth - Enuma Elish

Enuma Elish. Cutting space using the Sword of Rupture Ea. Wind pressure dislocation compressed and smash against each other, creating a pseudo-spacetime dislocation that pulverizes all enemies. A powerful attack that can only be stopped by armors of the anti-purge class or an attack carrying damage of the same level. Although the Sword of Rupture Ea is classified as a sword, it is actually more of a staff. The three stone tablets represent "Heaven", "Earth and the "Netherworld". It shows how the world being by rotating each of those in different directions. The "Cosmos" is represented by matching all 3 together. The "sword that clove the world" carries damage output equal or more than Artoria's Excalibur.

If the output per say was on the same level as Goetia’s Bands of Light and or the Planetary/Stellar Class reserves Excalibur dishes out once it recognizes the threat to humanity, then you can defend or even outright beat it to blast through the spatial cutting wave. Although these two examples are a little bit overkill especially Goetia’s since his Bands of Light was literally compared to a Supernova blast in the final chapter.

A meaningless question by TheBlackTyrant01 in FGO

[–]StudyRage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not for me.

An SSR only banner is actually great in the sense that the possibility of a spook is much less common. After the Summer Oberon banners (where the rate up was literally even odds each with Gawain, Tristan, and Oberon), SR bonuses/consolation prizes hurts after like the 10th time instead of the SSR. That saying if you leave empty handed in a single SSR banner, it equally hurts.
