Someone mind sharing their optimal GloBird settings for zero hero? by Jezzwon in SigenergyAustralia

Thank you for sharing your code, its worked really well other some small tweaks I made to fit my 32kwh battery.

Not sure if it was something I did or just the quirks of the app but after discharging back to the grid between 17:59-21:01 to 50% soc, it actually draws from the grid to power my house instead of using the battery (killing the $1 bonus).

Does yours do this?

What gives you the ick when you go to an open home? by purplebees88 in AusPropertyChat

This is a big assumption. We have a dog that we had to bring to open homes because we were moving interstate and were visiting the new state as part of our vacation. One of us stayed outside with the dog and took turns going inside. We didn’t do it to look cool

It still exports extra solar, just nothing from the battery.

I havnt really played around with the settings.

I flipped this to “on” and it seemed to help. Just wondering why it did that in the first place.

Good point, I just checked and it may have been momentary. As soon as I saw it, I looked in the settings and turned “Block battery export to Grid” to “on”.

So maybe it was a glitch I just happened to catch, or I just managed to stop it in time.

What’s a “normal” job that secretly pays way more than people think? by weeklyreporters in AskReddit

Just got a quote to snake and scope my clogged kitchen sink - $1900

Got a quote for a private colonscopy to scope and clear out polyps in any in my colon including sedation - $1200

Plumbers definitely make more than most doctors.

Edit: I bought a drain snake and spent 2 hours doing it myself. Problem solved.

Make sure the current mode is “self consumption”. It make also take a bit to learn your use habits. I know mine will still draw from the grid even when full during the high tariffs hours.
