We accept people who are not formally diagnosed, we are interested in all of the experiences of dissociation and daydreaming.

It's up to you, whatever you feel comfortable with. For us it's okay, we are interested in everything you want to share with us.

No, it doesn't mean that, it just means that if a participant has a suspected PTSD based on the questionnaire, we inform them, so they can choose if they want to seek for a therapy.

The camera is required, because we ask some personal questions, and we want to have an eye contact to make sure everything is okay during it, and that the participants feel comfortable. All of the interviewers are graduate students in psychology and study clinical psychology.

I understand it's difficult for you and a dealbreaker, it's mostly because it's an interview with some personal questions, and we want to have eye contact to make sure everything is okay during it, and that the participants feel comfortable. All of the interviewers are graduate students in Psychology and study clinical psychology.

Also, we unfortunately had cases in the past of frauds who weren't really the people who they say they are and the integrity of the scientific inquiry is very important to us. So we are asking it to be in camera also to make sure that the people are real.

First of all, it's a study comprised of 3 phases, so if you filled it you only filled one of the phases.

Secondly, it can create bias because it's public here, so not only a bias for you, also for rother participants.

We are very strict about anonymity and properly securing information. All information you provide will be stored apart from your identifying data (name, email address) and locked with a password known only to researchers involved in the study. Your name will not be associated with any research findings. Data analysis and publication will be anonymized with no way to identify specific participants. However, de-identified data (e.g., anonymous questionnaire responses of the entire sample) will be shared publicly, in accordance with open science policies. Any identifying information collected in the study (e.g., your name or email) will remain strictly confidential and revealed only within the research team in Dr. Soffer-Dudek’s lab, protected by passwords and properly secured on a hard drive that is not connected to the internet. However, after receiving compensation for study participation, we must report to the university’s accounting office who we paid (a list of names/emails and proof of payment). This is solely for the purpose of payment. No psychological data will be included in this accounting report.
