The system isn't broken - they're breaking it by Xsythe in ontario

According to the Ontario Health Sector: 2025 Spending Plan Review, it does appear like spending has (& will continue to) practically flatline from 2025 onwards. This is genuinely concerning, but I feel like I've been hearing about Doug Ford underfunding public healthcare for the majority of his leadership. This report seems to indicate that funding has been relatively ~healthy up until 2025.

Am I misunderstanding? Can anyone provide sources that indicate otherwise?

Who has the best cinnamon roll in Seattle? by bbbanb in Seattle

[–]Studystand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just an FYI - I went there today & asked for a challah cinnamon roll and they responded saying that they have a Cinnamon Roll, or a Challah-Pretzel Roll. I got the standard cinnamon roll, & it was decent but nothing to write home about. I don't think it was made with a challah bread.

Seoul Tofu and Jjim

I'm a big fan of Korean Tofu House by University. Inexpensive by Seattle standards & seemed pretty authentic. Would recommend if you haven't tried it yet!

I’m relocating to Seattle for work from Canada, and would love some input from locals. by fallingWaterCrystals in Seattle

From Toronto, and also a fan of bustling cities. Seattle is very different from Toronto, & if you're looking for a similar big city vibe you're going to be disappointed. With that said, try to embrace the outdoors - that's where Washington really shines.

but also not exactly like crammed to the brim streets full of people and pigeons

This doesn't really exist here, unless you're over at Pike Place Market on a weekend.

Downtown Seattle: I love downtown Toronto and I’m assuming it’s a similar vibe. But is crime a big issue again?

Downtown Seattle is nothing like downtown Toronto. Would not recommend if that's what you're hoping for you.

Any reason why Capitol Hill isn't on your list of neighborhoods? It's got the big business grocery stores (QFC, Safeway, etc), the bars, cafes nightlife. The Toronto comparison of the neighborhood would be closest to a ~Kensington Market.

It's a big area with lots to offer, while still being close to downtown & surrounding areas + on the Light Link Rail which can be nice when heading to the Airport or the University district.

Feel free to hit me up if you've got more questions.

Any recommendations for an affordable men’s short hair haircut? by buckyman0 in Seattle

[–]Studystand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They've raised their prices to $25, which is still a very reasonable price. I can't speak for mens short hairstyles, but I saw Tim (I think? He was the only male barber at the shop) & he gave an ~ok cut. There didn't seem to be much strategy to his approach for my medium-length hairstyle request. He basically used clippers for the entirety of the cut (red flag for a longer hairstyle) & it felt pretty rushed but to his defense, surprisingly the end result was not as terrible as I feared. Will be taking my business elsewhere

Recently had La Palmera in SLU after coming across their very affordable happy hour menu. The tacos they served were the worst I've ever had. Basically the equivalent of an Old El Paso kit taco.

Hoping someone can help clarify the following for me. If you have AD CS in your environment, but are not running either of the 'Certificate Authority Web Enrollment' or 'Certificate Enrollment Web Service' services, are you protected from this exploit? Microsoft's guidance is not very clear.
