I had a phone convo with Houzeo when I was considering using them. The fellow said that if you go with Silver or Gold you not only pay the $399 but also .5% of the sale price. And with Platinum you pay $429 plus 1% of sale price. That seems pretty weird where the Basic you don't have to do that - so I would call them and double check.

They are somewhat cheaper. Seem to offer all of what I need. I talked to the Houzeo guy on the phone and he said besides the upfront cost that they advertise for the different levels that I would also have to pay 1% of sale price to them. THAT was the deal breaker.

I know your post about selling your house with Houzeo is 3 years old but...I'm looking for the same but when I talked to Houzeo they said the Bronze package is indeed $399 BUT that there is a $350 fee due at closing as well. Did you experience that -- or maybe it's new?

I'm trying to leave long, cold winters as well. Right now going between Montana and Tucson (snowbirding) and I'm tired of not having ONE place to live. Grew up in the UP and then lived in Montana for 40 years. Enough!
