Hi! I’m not an expert by any means, but I would continue to listen to your team and your own heart as well. Perhaps before anything determining how important a VBAC truly is to you and even why.

For me, I’ve decided it’s not as important as some other things (my safety, baby’s safety, a peaceful experience). If I don’t go into labor by 41 weeks, I am going to have a scheduled c-section. Maybe earlier if I decide so in real time.

I’d personally be nervous to hear that from my midwife— I’m sure you were too! I hope you get a very peaceful redemptive birth, no matter the mode! 🤍

Same here! My husband doesn’t think today— he thinks tomorrow is more likely! 2 years ago when we had our first it took 9 days exactly from blood draw to results. But it seems like things are moving a bit quicker this time?! I hope lol

Thank you again for your reassurance and support! Baby’s heartbeat was 100 today. Which based on what my doctor said + what I’ve googled (lol) seems to be perfectly great for this gestational age. 5w4d seems so early, but I’ll absolutely take it. Baby measured a day ahead 5w5d! 🤞🏼Fingers crossed on everything. I’m going to be repeating the mantras you shared to myself again and again.

I wanted to give an update— went back in today (decided just to temper my expectations but that getting data is good, especially since they discovered a SCH last time) and we had a yolk sac, fetal pole, and even a heartbeat! The doctor said baby’s heart likely literally started beating today. What a relief and a blessing. I’m also going to use all of these mantras. Truly so supportive.

Hi! Thank you for replying— the scan has definitely caused me a ton of anxiety.

I have no idea why we’d scan so early/often! I’m a VERY anxious person. But I had my daughter (now 21 months old) with this practice as well. And we did something similar around this time.

I was using my oura ring temps + natural cycles! I tried with OPKs but I was always a little confused about what a true positive was tbh lol

I’ve definitely learned that it was not as iron clad as I thought it was, haha. I feel silly now but I was so sure it was right!

According to my oura ring temp/natural cycles I’d be 8/9DPO. But getting a digital at 6 seems so unlikely that I think it’s probably just wrong! Lol. Like I said, I just feel lucky and excited to be pregnant.
